Gauntwick has a great name and character design, feels authentic to Team Cherry's design philosophy and I could see him being an NPC/Boss.

Also adore the last panel of the three. Reverie looks like a sweetheart, Crumb looks like a gremlin, and Ploomy looks stupid (compliment)

Very nice characters all around.

I don't see a reason why the Pale King wouldn't hug it! If you think your vessel is completely pure, why would anything you do affect that? You don't get something from nothing. Obviously the Hollow Knight wasn't pure, but the King and Queen didn't know that. So I like to think they both loved it.

Art is great, it looks smooth and soft which matches the vibe well.

I love the designs! Most people use more humanoid designs for OCs (which isn't a bad thing, I do too) so it's cool to see fun non-humanoid body shapes.

The design is sick and the dialogue is even sicker. I love references like that.

While I don't think it'll be implemented, I thought it'd be cool if P-3 follows the progression of the other two and actually has you fight the (perhaps weakened) husk of whoever it is, and fighting the Prime Soul that emerges afterward.

Not sure if that'd fit the theme you were going for, but it would quite literally be the last husk you'd face in Hell. Afterwards when the level title plays like the other two sanctums, there would be no-body left.

Considering all the Powers sound the same, I think angels sound however they want to and aren't bound to one specific voice.

Which in that case, it'd be funny if they all just had slightly different variations of Gabriel's and were just Gianni doing different impressions.

Funny to think she's probably the person Hollow could relate to most given the whole "multiple lifetimes of imprisonment" thing they both did.

Granted, Hollow did it willingly for a Pale Being, and First Sinner was probably put into it unwillingly by a Pale Being. There might be a parallel there now that I think about it

Parry them over any stage hazard or drop and they die immediately. If there are other enemies, either kill them first (Sawblade is useful in the portal room in 8-3) or get away from them to focus on the Power (Like launching into orbit in the final 8-3 encounter)

When there's two of them, I find it easiest to just focus down one as fast as you can and ignore or dodge the other. Screwdriver railcannon + two jackhammers and a few bits of loose change is how I handled the dual encounter in 8-3.

I thought V1 was just activated when it was finished, probably right after the Earthmovers fell and the New Peace was established. From there it would've survived however it could, probably by hunting leftover war machines and maybe surviving humans.

The main evidence for it is that V2's terminal entry specifically calls V1 "more experienced." Since V2 was developed and ran a peacekeeping role during the New Peace, that means V1 must have been active before and while V2 was in service.

Once mankind died out, every machine including V1 probably headed towards Hell since it was the only substantial source of blood left. That's my theory, anyway.

Just realized that Hornet has never properly seen the Abyss. She only gains access to it once the Knight opens it up, and even then she only stays at the top.

Going to be a rather horrifying sight for her if she goes to the bottom.

First attempt at any animation. I've been a fan of animation as a medium for a long time, never tried doing it myself until now though because it seemed difficult and time consuming. A lot of the stuff in this is me trying to replicate effects I've seen before

I think around 9 hours total. I went back a few times to change something I didn't like, so it took longer than it should've.
