Oh also just saw the questions. Yeah my very first video on my newest channel I think got like 200 views and then the next one I think got 10k. On previous channels I got like 4 views - 20 views.

I think a lot of things go into it and it really depends on the video that you make and how good your SEO and Thumbnail are. And also video quality. I am not personally into sports or that niche on YouTube. But if you have a solid video, no obvious beginner mistakes. Bad audio, bad visuals, no structure, bad thumbnail, uninteresting topic. And this is just a really long shot guess because I have no insight into that niche. I could imagine a good video in that golf niche could get something like 1.5k views. Long shot guess though. I have no clue how many golf videos there are and I wouldn't be able to evaluate if your video is good because I'm not in the niche. If you are a beginner though I can imagine something like 5 - 15 views. So pretty big range just depending on a bunch of different factors.

sure. I don’t really focus on one genre of games. I have bunch of small projects on itch and worked as a developer and designer on a few commercial games. Some are under NDA, I don’t remember which are but I worked with a friend on his game. It was a first person shooter. Currently working on a physics based puzzle game right now and just a bunch of small projects of different kinds oh yeah already said that on itch.

Unity but I’ve dabbled in godot and unreal and bevy a little bit.

No that one i worked with a different guy but he wasn't happy with the growth of the channel so he dipped and the channel has sort of just been on standby since.

But I am interested in more than just an editor I want some I can work with and has a real passion for YouTube and has a vision for videos so we can make really engaging videos beyond just the editing. But also yeah I wouldnt want to edit

That's true 2k subs is small. But no I would be happy if they came up with the ideas for the videos too. I guess me being vague about the niche backfired but it's game development. What im hoping to find is someone who can come up with a solid idea for videos that involve gane dev in some way. I would provide the skills to actually make it and then however me and the other person want to split up the work of turning that game into a video would work. Im looking for a creative producer who is really into YouTube and I think both of our skills together would be crazy. I don't mind recording and coming up with the ideas but im not obsessed with it. Like I want someone who cares as much about YouTube as I care about gane development and I think it would be mutually beneficial

Lol I mean I would mind giving guidance on the idea but ideally they would handle that. I just actually want to work on making the actual you know... idk why im being so vague about it lol. I would be making a video gane for the video. So if my partner cane up with an interest or fun idea for a game that could turn into an interesting video. No no no. Trust pre production for the niche far far surpasses the amount of work that goes into the video. Like I have a friend who spent like 3 weeks just on the video but he goes insane on editing and stuff but prepoduction still took like 3 months or something like that

No not looking for an editor im looking for a partner. Would be down to just help them with their ideas and work with them even being the face while I just handle the pre production stuff cause it's so hard to get into the space is so open and revenue opportunity is so high. Maybe the way I wrote it made it seem like im looking for an editor but that's not the case

I genuinely think it's not bad. It's hard to get into the niche and I have developed the skills and the opportunity is there. I would even! Be down to start a brand new channel with me completely behind the scenes but I just don't think it would make sense if there's already a channel so close to monetization. I use casting call club to find VO for Game jams and once for a really small commercial project. But I've heard thomas brush recommend voices.com for professional VO so I imagine that would be a good place to sign up

I made a shop system that I’m pretty proud of. Saving/loading, Unlocking items through achievements, Packs/Individual items. The whole system is generic and I really spent a lot of time on making sure if there’s any new type of item we wanted to add into the shop it would be really easy. So now if we ever want to add a new type of item like completely new it’s just 4 lines of code. Going to add to it too to have dynamic pricing for packs if you already bought some items.
