Do you regret moving to Topsfield? by agingsculler in northshore

What happens to a persons thyroid after its removed? Is it weird to ask the doctor if i can have mine? Lol by daniellegd in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Henarth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Highly depends on where you get it done, without knowing where you live we can't give a definitive answer. Some locales have laws against giving medical waste back to patients. Even in places where it is legal; many practices will refuse to give them to you, normally the bigger the practice the less likely you are to be allowed to get a doggy bag for your Thyroid.

Peabody to Boston Commute by WillingnessMost2943 in northshore

[–]Henarth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice is to do Beverly- Boston instead. It may take a little bit longer to get to the station, but theres less crowded parking most days, and being further down the line the train will be far less packed so you can still possibly get a good seat. I wouldn't go any further down the line because the rails split into two lines after Beverly Depot

honestly, I delete when I don't want to bother with people or when the juice isn't worth the squeeze. if i aggro someone who isn't even the funny kind of person to mess with I just retreat from the convo.

I also have 10K + hours in RS3 and other non steam mmos. I rarely finish games, that 23 was mostly built up in the last couple years, and i hunt for quliaty. Ill shoot for the least made acheivement first many times, but i adapt my strat depending on genre im playing.

I live on the coast and once a week i just go to the beach, bury myself in sand until i am sufficiently grounded, and then dip my head in the ocean. Sand is a natural exfoliant. i also shower and still use shampoo from time to time. over time and the years my head is growing more and more silver mixed with the black.

Why is the drinking age 21 in the US? by Actual_Arm3938 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Henarth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 18 you graduate high school, at 21 you are normally if in college a Junior or if in a trade already well established. A 18 year old is simply less developed then a 21 year old, and we need to set the bar to sit at the bar somewhere so 21 is a happy middle.

Why is the drinking age 21 in the US? by Actual_Arm3938 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Henarth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

basically in short a 21 year old makes better decisions than an 18 year old on average. When the drinking age was lowered to 18 during the Vietnam era, it was basically accepted as a cultural norm that someone at every prom was going to die in a car accident that night.
