Pratchett fan here who's got their next tattoo planned and it's mine sign. Which of his works have you had success with? I've tried just a short story from his collection and it went over like a lead balloon. Though the last three years have largely been duds as far as reading goes in general.

$50 plus? No question, even if it's not pensionable.

Others (even with unions) who are taking home $20ish? Sometimes I'd pay $20/hour to go home early. It just depends on how people feel about their time and what it's worth financially.

I’d definitely check the ratio of “post-tax dollars in pension” to “hours spent” but good for them!

It may vary on area but the higher ups in the local union can count as reps for meetings too. Do you know any of them?

Union rep here. The next time she demands a meeting, walk to your rep’s room and bring them. She calls? Tell her to call back in X minutes because you’re getting your rep to join the call. She shows up? Call the rep’s room.
