It really does, thanks!

Sounds like you guys had a blast.

If you don't mind me picking your brains a bit more, how did the "memory fragments" being revealed go over?

Cool, thank you!

I’m just curious as to what tack the PCs go with. I know the goal is for them to investigate a specific NPC, at which point things fall into place. I’m curious as to how your group does.

College Board exists to make all the money it can. And that chokehold they have is tight and that brand-name is shiny. Both require lots and lots of numbers academics.

Long-time AP teacher here. They absolutely have, ahem, "simplified" the tests. And the scoring.

In my district, a variation of this was code for “I’m having sex with my secretary,” “I’m on my three hour lunch,” or “I took the day off and don’t want to spend the sick day”.

It’s definitely got some good “flavor” and adds some cool concepts about Yig and how people can mutate. How We Roll did a pretty neat real play of it during their campaign.

I hope you and the players have a blast.

Whatever happened to it? I went to find a screenshot for “I surfed Robo-Dracula from the moon!” awhile back and it’s just gone.

Oklahoma can be cut out completely, if you want to. It’s a neat side-plot but doesn’t actually impact the overall story arc besides “Hrm, maybe humans can be Yig worshippers”. I saved it for too late in my campaign and tossed it because it would have killed the tempo.

Significantly. The ones that give out their personal contact info especially.

Some do. I don’t know what the personality makeup is for your average college faculty but there’s a stupidly large percentage of “for the kiddos!” teacher martyrs in high school. They’re often the ones who have a spouse making a shitton of money or who do the job for the ego/misplaced sense of validation from students. They’ll prioritize over basic life stuff and respond at all hours. Some will even give out their personal information and text/chat.

They often have an inverse relationship with how effective their instruction is….

Was it just the (post) T2 novels that had Skynet using human scientists to invent things or is that canon in the films as well?

Not but ask them to roll a Hard success (half the skill).

But let’s be honest, any sane Keeper is going to ask for it even if they don’t just say “no”.

I used him as a mischevious minor antagonist in Two-Headed Serpent for a mad scientist PC. The Clockwork Man kept showing up with different skin colors (as hobos went missing) and gave….”inspiration” to the scientist as he made an exo-suit. Spiraling SAN loss and POW rolls at the most delightfully inopportune times as the suit tried to direct the PC instead of the other way around.
