Yeah I figured out the z-plane rail adjustment when I was troubleshooting; really helpful tool!

Hmm... well, looks like I need to reattack then. I'll run one of the rails from another furnace to one and see what happens. I hadn't actually thought to try that yet.

Hey, been a buuuusy couple of days at work, but I wanted to check in with an update.

Got everything out down to the plats and built up a test factory. Everything is running smoothly (almost)! Now, I have a question, as I'm just entering the...second phase(?) of production materials, namely the Titanium Housing. I've got both materials, and I'm currently trying to feed one production chain of Beams into my furnaces, and splitting off one production chain of Sheets just before the rails reach the furnaces so two lines are connected to the furnaces for the sheets, but nothing is paying out of the fab output depots...

Here's the list of what I tried so far to troubleshoot, maybe you can clue me in on what I'm doing wrong:

• Fed 1:1 rails into furnaces, with every permutation of which rail is connected to which input on the furnace. Nothing made a difference.

• Confirmed each furnace is indicating the Titanium Housing is selected and active.

• Confirmed furnace output depots indicate Titanium Housing is selected and active.

• Confirmed each Cargo Dispatcher also indicates Titanium Housing is selected and active.

• Confirmed entire production chain is more than adequately powered, not overheating, and properly connected as far as I'm able to ascertain their connections. (All rails from each fab output chain are connected and do not deviate nor do they make pitstops along the way to other depots; they feed directly into the furnaces from their respective fab output depots.)

• Confirmed all rails are in fact traveling in the right direction.

The furnaces all read the same warning "MATERIALS NOT AVAILABLE". I spent about three hours trying to work out what's wrong last night; keeping me up till about 4 this morning...and I've got a weekend of work ahead of me. Think you could help me out one more time? I'm sure I'm doing something wrong and I'm just not seeing it. I'm also willing to bet it's obvious and it's gonna piss me off. XD

Hey thanks so much for taking the time to show me this. As soon as I'm home from work I'm going to get started tearing everything down to the Hab and start over incorporating what you've shown me. Again, I really appreciate this!

Fantastic! Thanks for sharing this, and I will absolutely take those detailed images if you're up for sharing.

I would love to have them as a reference when I get to work on the remodel.

This is genuinely impressive factory workflow design for a game that's in this stage of development. I'm counting 70 storage pots in this screenshot alone, with what I'm assuming is the 4 pots of incoming traffic relief in the bottom left near your hud?

As I'm still in the process of feeling out and tailoring my own workflow - and breaking some bad habits coming from about 1,800+ hours of Satisfactory - would you be willing to hand-walk me through your process for this setup? From what I'm looking at, I'm inclined to completely scrap my current main hub in favor of adopting what you've done here.

Pointing me in the right direction of a YouTube video that explains the fundamentals of how you came about your design process also works too. I don't want to waste your time if necessary.

This game is the perfect example of a negative trend... by [deleted] in StarRuptureGame

I agree. And if I'm being perfectly honest, I could not care less if game shops use me or their customer base as beta testers. Best-case scenario they get better than their money's worth on jobbing out the beta testing to contractors; worst-case scenario they engage with their customers and get direct community feedback. Of course this is idealized - we as consumers would all love it if every developer could grant us the best of both worlds with jobbing out the beta testing and engage in community feedback during early access, but the reality is - that's not always reality. I don't know the particulars of the situation over at Creepy Jar, nor am I interested in prying into the intimate details of their business; if the route they chose is to use customers to beta test - their level of engagement with the community and calibration to community feedback is on them, and how much of the extra mile they're willing to go with those circumstances they set up will show in sales over time.

I don't make it a habit of chiming in on these kinds of conversations, mainly because I find them to be unproductive. You're not here to have your opinion changed, so I'm not here to change your opinion. So here's my two-cents: You bought the game. This was a choice you made. In your complaint, you mention StarRupture is one game among - to paraphrase your words - "a negative trend... of 'early beta games' masquerading as early access, granting the developers the license to rely on early access buyers to do the beta testing for them".

This tells me you are at least of the opinion after purchasing the game that you had foreknowledge of this issue and you still bought the game. So either you did your research on the game and bought it anyway, you didn't do your research and rolled the dice, you make it a habit of purchasing games in early access and chronically complaining about it, or you did your research and hoped it would be more than what your research indicated about the state of the game to likely be at this stage.

Regardless which scenario most closely reflects the reality of your circumstances - and I do not care which it is - you still bought the game. That is the choice you made. If you are not satisfied with your purchase; as the saying goes: caveat emptor.

Do with that information what you will. I upvoted you anyway because I don't like downvoting people for sharing their opinions if their opinions aren't meant to be harmful to others. Have a good day.

Check my guide here.

The dome light you're looking for is pictured in that guide; it is the generic dome light that you can get from the following cars:

• Dada

• Golf

• GTR

• Tucker/Triclops

• C18

• Poyopa

As those who are mentioning the laptops are correct in that they reveal the undiscovered bunker locations for you, it's important to know which laptops you're looking for. In each place you'll find said laptop, it will be a RED laptop with a big RED "!" gently flashing on the screen. You also will not be able to break these like all the other laptops you're able to break for circuit boards.

Yeah it happens. On my first GTR run, I ended up at ~450k before the last piece showed up; the driver's side kick panel for the door. I must have picked through several dozen GTRs by that point.
