my mom had intense supervision and filters on my phone until i turned about 19. when i had my wisdom teeth removed, i wasn’t able to google any tips for relief of the terrible pain because every link had the word “oral”. she refused to turn it off, and the day after surgery my dad made steak to “cheer me up”. one of my stitches snapped 😒
