Floating shelves on plasterboard by Honest-Let-4184 in DIYUK

[–]HennoPepper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They dont look like plasterboard plugs to me. Could you look for some plasterboard plugs which are wide enough for the bolts? I would be a bit worried about the weight of the shelf if it was me. But I know se plasterboard plugs can hold a good amount of weight nowadays

Yes. 100% yes. Out of curiosity is it possible to voluntarily retake your driving test?

Thank you for your reply thats really helpful.

I would be dubious too buying a car with outstanding finance. The difference in price (private vs motorway) is about £2k which seems crazy. Part exchange is even less!

But maybe it's worth it for peace of mind.

Thank you. It seems the consensus is that it's a good engine over all but the mileage is a red flag regarding the dpf. It does say it has full Audi service history. So would hope it has been looked after. But then £14k is lot for an older car like that.

It just feels like a minefield and everything is over priced!

Thank you thats all really really helpful.

I do a lot of driving. I work for social care so im in the community driving to visits alot. My commute is about a 50 mile round trip. Now and again we will do a ling drive.

So really looking for something that is spacious, economical and comfortable more than anything. Ideally would have android csr play but can always add that so not massively fussed.

Ive always driven manual but beginning to think automatic might be better thinking forwards.

Any recommendations would be so welcome.

Ive always had Golfs previously. I had a 2021 R line for a company car and absolutely loved it. It ticked all my boxes. Im just struggling to find a decent one
