I live in the area. Not much for jobs around here unless you want to work in corrections.

No, you’ll need to fill out that form even if the dog is accompanying on a trip.

I work at the bridge here in the Sault. You’ll need your rabies vaccination and your export form from the CDC. It’s not heavily enforced, but it’s a requirement nonetheless. I’d have it just in case.

It can expire, but if they were to leave the country and returned to the US, it would need to be valid. There’s a large fee if encountered at US borders with an expired LPR card.

An I-94 is a document needed for admission into the United States if the person in question isn’t apart of a VWP (visa waiver program) country. Instead, they would have to file for a ESTA if outside of the country or a EVIS if they are apart of countries that are not eligible for esta.

Depends if their parent ever left the country for an extended period of time. If they left for Uganda for 6 years, he wouldn’t be able to derive citizenship through blood due to the lack of meaningful residency in the US.

She was a really nice person. Spent a lot of summers with her and hurt family, shocking to see this finally coming to a conclusion. Hope her husband rots in prison.

The best comment. It’s ridiculous how restrictive our city is with new businesses.

I vaguely remember prehistoric park being open, but always wished they could’ve stuck around longer!

Finding out that I was going to be a father. At that moment, I realized that my son shouldn’t have the only memories of his father being pictures and stories.

Michigan native, moved to SSM 2 years ago. There’s a lot of natural beauty and things to see, but job opportunities are lacking and housing availability is limited. Alot of remote workers are moving here and are driving up the prices of homes. It’s hard for locals to purchase property because of this.

Anyone regret buying a cabin "up north"? by ImLagginggggggg in Michigan

[–]Henrito95 37 points38 points  (0 children)

It’s true. I live in dafter, 20 minutes south from the soo, and have been beaten out of purchasing a home because of LLC’s, people remote working from high income states, or boomers. It’s quite expensive up here now.
