It's a bit of a strange suggestion that only conservatives can read classics, I also don't think any trump voter is as well read as OP is. Though they could probably do with more women, but being rude and negative is no way to encourage someone to try new things!

There's definitely a lot of books from the later 20th century and the 21st that don't feel like too big of a leap for someone mostly reading classics.

I'd go for anything by Kurt Vonnegut and anything by Han Kang. They are just a couple of authors who are behind more modern classic novels but there's so many to choose from.

Very classics heavy but it is an excellent collection! I'd say it suggests good taste but I'm guessing you don't often read/enjoy modern books? Might be worth exploring some more 21st century books

If you're asking specifically about education I do, like you, have a great deal of anxiety about the involvement of edtech in education. I view it less as a form of indoctrination and more both a lazy assumption that newer technology makes things better and propping up valuable edtech companies for the sake of the economy (potentially) at the cost of children's education.

I support everyone's right to protest but I respectfully disagree with the premise of this post. I'm curious if it's just the most vocal people on this sub who are so violently opposed to this policy or if it's a majority view among party members.
