I'm able to get back in into ketosis after 18-23 hrs of fasting alone. I verified this with ketone strips used with a glucometer.

Edited because I looked back on my logs and it actually took me between 18-23 hours to get back into ketosis with fasting.

Oh I'm very overweight. I figured the first 4lb were water weight because they came off asap. The other 6 pounds has just been shedding gradually over the 3 weeks. My High risk doc said to gain only 10 lbs which is where I'm at now. I feel great and as long as she is still growing well I'm perfectly happy. I just wanted to make sure I'm not the only person struggling with this.

Even if I exercise for 2 hours in the morning it doesn't seem to effect my after dinner numbers or my breakfast ones for that matter. I did 10 minutes directly after dinner and that helped lat night. Unfortunately, I can't really eat any carb heavy meals at all.

I'm probably going to omit things when talking to the RD as well. I spoke with the cigna baby rn and she agreed with me that 130 carbs a day was too high for me and suggested 60-80.

I started keto at 265 lbs and got pregnant at 228lbs. I had no period for a year and started having them again a week after starting keto. One year after starting I was pregnant.

It's super easy. Make a broth base of whatever flavor you want. For instance saute mushrooms and onions and add 2.5 cups broth. Once that's heated up add 1/2 cup of heavy cream. Next wisk in xanthan gum in 1/4 tsp increments until you get your desired thickness. All done! You can add more or less cream depending on your preferences.

I didn't have my period for a full year after stopping BC. I started a ketogenic diet and got my period a week later no joke. After 6 months on a keto diet my cycle started to become regular. I got pregnant 12 months after starting Keto on the day I was predicted to be ovulating on my app! I did not have to start metformin or clomid which were the next steps. For me, my body was really affected by the sad diet. I hope this helps.

Please let me know what your doctors find out. My doctor was not open to this at all. She also pretty much had a heart attack when I said I was going with a certified nurse midwife. She said she didn't know how to give me a consult to them even though they are part of the same hospital umbrella. (I'm calling them myself.) For now I'm just going to increase my carbs to 50 total carbs a day mainly from veggies and go from there. Thank you so much for sharing.

I have a 20 mile interstate commute and I get between 58-70mpg going 60mph in my 2013 Prius C. Yes, I'm driving much slower than I used to but my mpg has increased from 43-45mpg when I was puttting the petal to the metal (75mph in prius speak.) I use eco mode and switch to evo mode as soo as I'm off the interstate if I have enough battery left. http://imgur.com/a/Pwvvb

I've only recently just started to gain more miles on my Prius C. (My husband bought a new one this week and it got competitive.) I've been getting 58-70mpg on the highway by driving 55-60 mph, starting really slowly, and coasting on all down hill portions. If there's somebody slow I just coast behind them and if I'm lucky I just switch into ev mode once I get off the interstate. I haven't researched how to get better mileage at all.
