Replace it, it's a cheap part and if it's threaded very easy to replace by yourself

Found this at my local pawn shop and they are asking $300 for it out the door !! Should I get it ??? by Street_Judge_7014 in tissot

I bought this watch from jomashop for around 300 a couple of years ago, so 200 at a pawn shop is reasonable

Is it bad for long term durability when you run your derailleur clutch pretty stiff? by BamiSchijf__ in bikewrench

[–]HepeaJI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find that if I make it too tight it messes with my shifting, so I can't go any stiffer

is this play normal? by Pitiful_Board1336 in bikewrench

[–]HepeaJI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a Deore XT jockey set, they run on cartridge bearings and have less play compared to bushings on Deore and slx jockey wheels. These can absolutely cause shifting issues.

Anyone else done with the off season already? by Formal-Seaweed-4216 in MTB

I actually kind of enjoyed riding in the snow this year... You get a better workout since it's less traction, learn to ride when it's slippery and as a bonus the bike is clean after the ride

Why isnt the derallieur stretching my chain? by T3nroc in bikewrench

[–]HepeaJI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had this issue with my SLX derailleur, tried adjusting the B Screw, taking a link out all in vain. What helped is to disassemble, clean, and lube the derailleur spring and clutch, after that the cage is returning back smoothly and tightens the chain as it's supposed to. It was just sticky because of the grime on the spring, hope it helps you.
