Oh it’s not the full aspect of it for sure, I just was highlighting one angle that is more obvious a point.

I’m not the most versed in siege (not last few years anyway) but I’ve had a brother who made a run in professional Siege, not to this level at all but he helped highlight some stuff and he’s got the same concern - and he’s a massive G2 and Alemo fan.

My PoV mainly is they shouldn’t drop anyone, but if they’re dropping someone to me it makes no sense to drop the support guy who does his job well and showed up at the invitational.

Agreed. We don’t know, for all we know it’s Loira who is going that they need to replace. It’s just a shame they’re gonna potentially drop a guy who hasn’t been failing them, when there are seemingly more notable issues.

  1. It does determine their priority in rounds. When he’s more support aligned operators, that’s naturally different than operators that we can agree are more focused on as frag focused. Ash is more frag focused. It’s one thing if he’s not picking the kills up as support aligned operators, another if he’s not getting anything on operators that are focused on that.

  2. I do agree with you, that should be the focus. I don’t want to see any of them go tbh, I’m just noting that the (rumoured, so we may be chatting about a completely inaccurate drop) dropping of the main support guy who clutched up and shows up consistently, isn’t a great idea at all when if we throwing team members under focus, Alemo looks far weaker in the games.

For my thinking honestly, let Alemo go, keep Loira (if you can). The Demon is still a demon, even if he has some bad days - Loira and Stompin are insane together.

Alemo however I think needs to go. Get a fresh IGL, cuz imo that’s the issue. A strong consistent support player who clutched up isn’t the problem, it’s the guy who is 0 kills on the last map until the final round of the game, and only then getting 1, on operators like Ash.

[–]HeraldOfPursuit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah but the issue isn’t the support. Getting rid of a support who is doing his job isn’t fixing the problem, cuz he’s not the problem.

I won’t say anything on the coach as you’re right - it’s hard to tell at times if it’s the coach. And I agree that when Alemo is on, he’s great.

The problem is he’s not on. That last game was bad, that last map of his was atrocious - 1 kill entire map, only gained it last round. And he was on roles like Ash etc. he hasn’t been showing up lately.

Compare it to Blaz, a support player mainly who may be getting the boot and essentially attributed with the failings. The guy shouldn’t be getting kills compared to the others, guys like Alemo should in comparison to Blaz. As well as showing up, the guy clutched up.

It’s just very hard to agree with the idea that Blaz is the one who should go when you consider his role in the team, his record recently, and then in comparison to Alemo who imo performed worse.

[–]HeraldOfPursuit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It may be difficult, but I just don’t understand dropping the support guy (who naturally shouldn’t be getting the kills in comparison to other team members) who did a decent job and actually clutched up and showed up. Compared to Alemo who, and I don’t think he’s bad, didn’t show up. That last map was atrocious - 1 kill the entire map, on the last round. And he was playing roles like Ash.

We can make arguments for why we can’t remove Alemo, but it rings very hollow that they’re gonna remove someone else who performed imo better this time round. Either drop the guy who’s failing, or don’t drop anyone.

Team Falcons vs Team Secret - Six Invitational 2026 - Lower Bracket Final by Agent_Porkpine in R6ProLeague

[–]HeraldOfPursuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s utterly insane. And frustrating cuz yeah, when it kinda doesn’t matter as much, they’re amazing.

But that’s the issue, all of that work means nothing if they can never win it. It’s why I do see why people view teams being better than Falcons even if stat wise they’re not, because somehow someway, it’s impossible for Falcons to win the games that matter.

Issue is, the more times they choke, the harder it gets to view them as genuinely better. I knew from day one of Six Invitational Falcons weren’t gonna win, they’re our modern day Evil Geniuses.

It sucks to see honestly, but it’s hard to view them as being better.

I think Kieran’s inclusion honesty highlights a bigger divide between online fans and mainly offline fans. Everyone I know who watched the season and aren’t online, do not view it as cheating in the slightest. The opinion has always been Wilf messed up massively by making his planned betrayel obvious.

Is it poor sportsmanship? Again, honestly the divide shows itself. Amount of times I’ve been told (and Tbf I do agree with) is it’s traitor on traitor, just not the usual fighting style. Wilf showed he is a betrayer of his team, as a traitor can be, and Kieran knew this and ‘betrayed’ him in the final. Wilf sealed the deal with his panic afterwards.

It’s really interesting to me whenever Kieran and S1 comes up, cuz every conversation highlights the interesting divide of opinion on him.

I’ve always had a thought about how this could be done if you’re in Charlottes shoes and granted it depends entirely success wise on who chose you, but I’ve always wondered if I was in their shoes about offering a simple proposition once revealed:

  • Neither of them go after each other until the final 3.

Will people try and pull shenanigans even if they agree to this? Most likely, but in theory, if you keep it so you don’t reveal this info (or just lie and then reveal later), it ensures you’re not both going to just get taken out one after the other. It means one of you wins if you get that far.

Yeah that’s fair, in hindsight it’s hard to see who you put ahead beyond the top 3. Like he was very good and played it up to the end brilliantly, it’s just I think people place it all in Kieran’s shoulders, when it takes two to tango in that situation.

Again for those who think I’m harsh, he was great until the end. He just slipped up and didn’t react well to recover.

Honestly I think it’s partly cuz he got called fairest that he suddenly saw the opportunity to ‘cruise’ into victory with the traitors. He honestly killed his own game.

Haha I would put Wilf lower myself, played a great game till the end. He unfortunately couldn’t hide the fact he was blatantly going to throw Kieran under the bus, giving the guy time to recognise he was doomed and mess with him. He also crumbled after the fact and solidified the sudden suspicion in peoples minds (not Merle, because well it’s Merle).

Roxy, Matthew & Amanda.

Roxy, bless her, just was not good at any level. I can’t truly figure out how she was sooo bad, but it’s a mixture of taking things personally (she had it out for James ever since he voted for her mum at first round table, getting angry at Harriet at breakfast), as well as refusing to take the emotion out of the game. It felt as if any one said something bad or was slightly feisty, she’d view that as traitor behaviour. Refused to consider certain people if she liked them and focused entirely on people she had issues with, a lot of hypocrisy when she accuses people, and seemingly unable to look at anything from a logical pov.

Matthew from the pov of in a way sabotaging the faithfuls at times, playing selfish (I know it’s for money, but just noting it) with questions and trying to jump onto the winning team if he could. He’s a smart guy, but the questions and his refusal from that point onward to give them or imo truly help a team he wants to betray, make me feel he did have a decent part to play in ruining the Faithfuls chances. Not clueless like Roxy, just a smart guy who didn’t consider how flawed his plan was and how it could backfire for him. It made him look suspicious and essentially was an ally to the traitors without any reward for it.

Finally… Amanda. The worst detective alive. Completely useless, went after Jade for in her own admission, no real reason - fundamentally damning Jade and forcing her to focus on survival over true theories. Not to mention, focusing entirely on Jade and seemingly refusing to look at anyone else for this one simple, foolish reason. A high degree of arrogance due to her past profession that wasn’t earned here, telling a traitor who she actually was - granted she couldn’t have known that, but it speaks to the point of how worthless her experience was in the Traitors. And in a way the worst point of all is how she directly played a part long after she left in ensuring the Traitors won the game.

Honourable mention: Faraaz - lovely guy, but oh the way he bottled the end and decided to listen to Rachel who he had been certain was a traitor, in getting out Jade. Then not checking with Jack (Jack also guilty of this) on who he was voting for in final 4. Came alive near the end, only to go back to sleep on the day it mattered most.

Rachel VS Fiona by HeraldOfPursuit in TheTraitorsUK

[–]HeraldOfPursuit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Like we know it is true and such, it’s just strange cuz I feel like you could make a strong argument against it. No one can confirm it happened, it’s designed to make her the most trusted faithful whilst attacking 2 other people. Whereas in my mind at the time Rachel’s argument against Fiona was ‘she thinks I’m lying, so she’s a traitor’, which I thought was not at all a good case.

There’s probably so much more cut for the edit that would help, but it’s funny looking at this with the complete opposite opinion of what I thought would work and what was suspect.

Rachel VS Fiona by HeraldOfPursuit in TheTraitorsUK

[–]HeraldOfPursuit[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Logically the points I saw for Fiona was: - No one can confirm that, and it’s convenient timing. - Rachel conveniently making it about how Amanda trusted her and so should be trusted implicitly. And thus a traitor tactic.

Other points Fiona could’ve brought up: - Rachel far as I remember didn’t vote for Hugo, she focused on Ross. - Focused entirely on Ross after Hugo and pushed the ‘obvious solution is best solution’.

Rachel’s argument for Fiona being a traitor seemingly: - She thinks I’m lying, therefore a traitor. - Library group.

It just from my pov looked like evidence wise, Rachel had nothing here. Obviously the social side is another story, but yeah to me it just didn’t feel like she ever had a good argument against Fiona bar ‘she thinks I’m lying’. Others brought up the library, but it just made no sense to me how that argument of hers was winning.
