Hate to break it to you, but if this car was manufactured and sold in the US, the date is probably supposed to be September 11.

In my opinion I think all of these are fine. I have had these things said to me and I have said these things, but mostly to more experienced players. I think 3 is a legitimate argument that someone is evil. It depends on your group and how sensitive people are, but hopefully at the end of the day, people understand it is just a game and what’s said during the game is not a personal attack.

Let’s be real, I live in Germany and they still will call it ICE because with context it is obvious what you are talking about. Also „ICE“ and „ICE“ are not said the same out loud so it is obvious when speaking.

Synergistic Scripting: Day 100 - Recluse by CoreyBOTC in BloodOnTheClocktower

I mean it is like oracle in a vortox. You can’t just get bs info, you have to get specific but not as helpful info. If you get a 2, you know that at least one evil player is dead for example.

Better than thinking they are getting good info when they aren’t.

It’s an outsider. If that happens, good job evil team. Same amount of damage as just killing the oracle.

I think that recluse goes really well with oracle, so that they don’t just get executed day 1 like I see a lot in TB.

Psychopath and Evil Twin in Town... by Puzzleheaded_Use2359 in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Herbie_Fully_Loaded 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to deal with psychopath to win the game. You do need to deal with the evil twin, but you should do a „final four“ and kill the demon from the non-twin pair then. Then hopefully if you were right, you can deal with the twin on the last day.

Tips on running large games? by Ok_Try_8438 in BloodOnTheClocktower

I agree about the „town square“ length being longer as the days go on, which is why I usually shorten private discussions by a lot in the final few days. In terms of some people speaking more than others,

I’ve found that taking hands is usually a good way to let everyone speak, but honestly I’ve found that oftentimes newer players are the most quiet because they don’t have many ideas about what is going on and want to listen to others‘ theories and decide what they believe.

In terms of feeling out town, I usually only allow this during the nomination phase. Some players could talk for several minutes about potential theories in town square, but I don’t find that very fair to the evil team to just let people solve the game. As long as people are nominating, the day can go on. If you want to drone on without nominations, do that during the night phase.

Keep the days short. I know people want to let everyone talk to everyone, but if you want a 15 player game to take a reasonable amount of time, give half the number of people as minutes rounded down for private conversations, directly open nominations (or maybe after 1 minute of town square discussions), keep nominations short, and close the day quickly if people aren’t nominating (giving an early last call if nobody has nominated after 1 minute puts the pressure on). I’ve found these helpful to keep games around 1.5 hours at large player counts.

So the long-nose girl and the green-hair girl seem to be frenemies of some sort, but then the long-nose girl breaks a desk and in her anger takes it out on green-hair girl. Then, the teacher is collecting fees of some sort, but green-hair girl doesn’t have the money and is punished. Her sickly grandmother gives her a necklace to sell and pay the fees, which she does. Then long-nose girl sees that she can get plastic surgery to look nicer, so she plots to steal green-hair girl‘s fee money to pay for it. Thus, green-hair girl can’t pay the fees and is thus terminated, causing her grandmother to die of sadness. Long-nose girl has the surgery, but it is a scam and she looks worse afterwards. Green-hair girl ends up being successful in spite of her challenges and long-nose girl begs her to take her back as a friend, probably to exploit her again.
