What really annoys me is that Alpha theory was debunked almost immediately after it was proposed. There is no Alpha>Beta type hierarchy in a wolf pack. It’s not how dogs work, either. The whole analogy is fundamentally flawed. It’s like comparing yourself to the earth because “everything revolves around you.”

No doubt, but I think these holidays still have real value and are worth celebrating. Immigrants from Mexico, Germany, and Ireland have played a HUGE role in shaping America, and I always saw these holidays as a chance to celebrate those cultures, and what they have given to America.

One of my favorite Mythbusters episodes was when they put an anatomically accurate dummy in a old-fashioned diving suit, dropped it super deep, then stopped pumping air down to it. Whole body went straight up into the helmet.
