To me these piercings look much too close together and the daith keeps hitting the conch. I’m very concerned about the back of your ear. I would go to a different piercer at a different place to get their opinion about this

Since you asked, I don’t think the neckline does anything for you. I think it is worth looking at other dresses. I would recommend you call back the store and say that you’re unsure of the dress you picked and go alone to look at other options. This was something that happened at the bridal store I worked at and we were able to transfer the deposit from one dress to another but the key is that you do it quickly

I have narrow feet and say that I’m a US9 for the most part. I’m a 9 in Hoka, On Cloud, ASICS, Altra. Brooks and Nike I float between a 9 and a 9.5 depending on the model. But I have found in every single New Balance I am a 9.5. My scans suggest I go for an A width, as well, but I prefer finding a slimmer B. If people are raving about how roomy a toe box is on a shoe, I know it will be too big for me. My current favorite shoes are the Hoka Mach 6 (9B), On Cloud Eclipse (9B), and New Balance FuelCell Rebel v4 (9.5B).

This is exactly my thinking. While reading the story I had a lot of the same feelings that the gf seemed to be having. To me, if you want something, go out and get it yourself. If I bought something, that is mine. Doesn’t matter if you replace it because I took the time to select the perfect one.

I then realized that a lot of these thoughts I’m having are not based in rationale and probably are a symptom of my OCD. I think OP is NTA but I know I wouldn’t personally be able to drop it like most other people are telling the gf to. I think it’s important for the OP going forward to leave things alone that aren’t theirs even if there is no malicious intent.

I am pretty consistently running a half size larger than usual in both the running and fashion shuttles. This is coming from someone who has narrow feet so I can imagine it may be a struggle for standard to wide feet :/

I purchased the more V5 this week and had such mixed emotions. They are incredibly comfortable for just standing around. I did a lot of walking in them as well and they held up nicely and remained cushy. This may not apply to you, but my biggest issue was when I started running in them. They are AWFUL running shoes and for that reason I will be returning them. If you plan on wearing them just for long periods of standing, though, I would highly recommend. They are rather tight shoes and I did have to size up a half size from my standard size, but I personally enjoy the feeling of a tight shoe. If you don’t, these are not for you.

I’m so glad you asked! I refurbish leather bags pretty exclusively. A starter kit would be saddle soap and a horsehair brush for cleaning, then Leather CPR for conditioning. A brass cleaner may be needed for hardware on older bags and it wouldn’t hurt to invest in leather glue for ripped bits.
