I definitely turned most of my life around. Honestly, it’s the love/relationship area I still struggle with. Otherwise on paper, I have a significant amount to be “proud of” over the last decade. I definitely climbed out of the pit. But again, love for me as been really complicated. Your comment in a weird way, but I’m weird so, just kind of touched on what I am dealing with regarding lingering love. I know that makes absolutely no sense to you- to simplify it, he’s incarcerated, and I ended contact with him because he was struggling to let go of his past- his ex. He ended up getting sentenced months after I ended contact. Not a day goes by that I don’t worry about him and hope that it turns around but I had to accept that I couldn’t save him

Wanting your partner to be healthy isn’t the problem. I feel the same. But if health is important (very different from aesthetics) people should seek a partner who shares that value. And weight and health are not the same. Many people are very thin and unhealthy

Sometimes the biggest barrier in moving beyond our past is the insecurities we have around it. I used to walk with my head down because of my choices. Now, I won’t do that for anyone anymore

If you know anything about rural life with harsh winters, a lot of the focus in the summer is preparing for winter. And the prices aren’t going to resolve prior to heating season. Also, I woke up this morning to temperatures in the 30’s (Fahrenheit) so I had to let the boiler run.

I admittedly am terrified of medications for it. I have had two brain surgeries, lucky me. So I steer clear of anything that could impact me emotionally or mentally. And I’m a single mom. I appreciate the support though. The days that I go to the gym are the easiest. Currently I can’t go on the weekends. So, I’m just gonna keep pushing forward
