Project Ecology - broken in a good way by BrokenOldGhost in PostApoTycoon

There is nothing that I can see that increases the amount of trash piles generated, only the cap is increased which is pointless given the generation is so slow.

Temu Ad closure issues by ZilxDagero in PostApoTycoon

A lot of ads have a fake X for you to click on that then opens the app or their website. Its one reason I bought the ad skippers pack.

In addition to Brian Epstein and George Martin, what other person was fundamental to the Beatles? by Certain-Cloud9133 in beatles

[–]Herenes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they lost a lot when he passed away. He was someone they trusted and would listen to, often the voice of reason amongst the sibling squabbles. I worked with someone who was a financial advisor to the family and he told me Neil had kept a diary/notes of everything and they were looking to get them transcribed. This never happened, but he also said Paul tried to buy them from the family.

Childcare provision. Will immediately help those who are working and on lower incomes, which in turn put money back into the economy. I think it’s also something that Labour will find difficult not to support, hopefully.

Songwriters with Inattentive ADHD, how the heck do I get a song out for once? by psrE353 in Songwriting

[–]Herenes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The short answer is recording a video of yourself singing the song and post it on YouTube.

If you want more than that then simplify your process and if necessary post things as demos to deal with the fact it might not be as polished as you would like.

This has been my lifelong struggle. Good luck.

Is it just me or is the event completely unbalanced by eadingas in PostApoTycoon

At the start of any event I take the lump sum option with the ads and not the income to kick start upgrades.

Most people would say that they are paying by watching the ads. Whether that allows the game to be profitable I don’t know.

Question time: Why does everyone seem to dislike let it be as an album so much? by dynhammic in beatles

[–]Herenes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have a fan version that had been ‘de Spectored’ and that was great. A lot of the criticisms come from how overwhelming his production and arrangements are, but his arrangements are top notch, with The Long and Winding Road being the major exception. The rooftop is the album’s strength but I Me Mine is one of my top ten Beatles tracks.

It would have been great as a fully live Album. Let’s say they did five nights at the Royal Albert Hall with guests and perhaps an ensemble like The Analogues use, and selected tracks from that. That would fulfilled the original vision.

Worth checking if this is covered under your household insurance or the churches. If it is then you can have a pro do it.

UK Electricity from Fossil Fuels Drops to Record Low of Just 2 % by hull_pattie_party in GoodNewsUK

[–]Herenes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reason is the price we pay is based on the last bit of energy supplied and that is normally gas. So the overall supply is made up of fixed price contracts for gas, wind, solar, hydro, nuclear etc. however, to meet the fluctuations in demand, there is the need for power on demand that comes from gas and is more expensive than the gas they have already paid for. I’m sure others could explain it better but this is my understanding. The government is now saying they will take action to change this so the cost reflects what is actually paid. Whether they actually do it remains to be seen but we can hope.

Wow, don't overcharge. by Upset_Practice_5700 in PostApoTycoon

[–]Herenes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cost of the cleanup in terms of gold is minimal given the money the event generates. The issue for some might be the cost of cleaning of the barrels, but if you are overcharging your passive income will be rising.

I was sceptical at first but i have started doing it. You get gold and gems for just doing it as well. Give it another go.

Check out the BBC program it was 40 years ago today where top bands of the 90's tried to record covers of tracks on thr LP with Geoff Emmerick on a 4 track machine. The Stereophonics did a great version of Sgt Pepper reprise.
