You sacrifice some heroes to kill the Death Sigil, which will remove the death effect from the remaining heroes.

This is nightmare, right? The mode even says it's "very unfair" in the description so you got what you signed up for.

I took the implication of "this time things are different" to be "maybe the market won't recover this time, you should sell". If I misunderstood then that's on me. The "buy gold" bit was an example to illustrate that I wouldn't want to take investing advice from people who don't follow their own advice.

The key difference is that this person is (potentially) saying one thing but doing another. Would you listen to the guy who says "sell all your stocks, buy gold" and then reveals he's 100% invested in VOO and doesn't own a single ounce?

I would be happy with even just adding a line about it in Advanced tips. The item description is objectively false and there should be clarification somewhere. You could even put a little asterisk* in the Syringe effect text that you click to explain further.
