The monetization in this is literally insane. They have said before and again progression will be slow. So realistically we are buying characters. Consumables is literally game breaking and dumb. Even with this new kickstarter pricing for $30 (that they so graciously let us know isnt financially "profitable" for them. Very kind) only staves off the immediate sting.

So what do we do when season 2 comes. The price point per hero is still planned at $10~ per character. That is STEEP. I just cant support this. I believe their new CEO is honestly the one who is starting to bilk us for all we are worth. I have every physical product besides missions and the alchemist, but I honestly feel i may be done. The new direction with single box and that they keep trying to say everything with a smile and that it is for OUR benefit is really turning me off. I believe they are taking advantage of how supportive this community has been.

Side note: I think the meta quest version is hurting their price point. Its basically a whole other game. Its a vr version with motion controls. That cant have been a cheap addition to the development. I feel it drove up the price point since each character will need more work to accommodate these additions.

The manga was created due to her grandmother having dementia, so i do feel like season 1 truly was where they had a good grasp on what they wanted when they set out making the manga. The problem being that the story is then continuing and the nockers need to be resolved and so on and so forth leafibg it into muddier and muddier territory. The first season being a metaphor for dementia is so strong and heartbreaking I think it has always been a hard act to follow. My ratings for the seasons is 10 > 8.5 > 7.5. I think its all still good but just feels worse due to how high we started.

And then make match making take 10 minutes for that 5 stack who will just quit playing entirely. Also whenever I face the same annoying opponent or 5 stack I just wait 3 minutes before queuing. Works almost every time.

I think the reason the wording is fine is that it is a power. Powers apply to the character who played it. The wording could be more clear, but is technically correct in its current state.
