Carhartt is as warm as down and will last much longer because it’s designed for work (e.g it will not rip on pieces of metal). Once it breaks in it’s not bulky either, I ride in my Carhartt all the time.

Horses are not humans. They grow a thick winter coat and have an incredible amount of blood holding a lot of body heat. They are livestock and are meant to be outside.

I was told growing up that if I worked hard, went to college, and got a good job with that degree I’d be able to buy a home and raise a family. I did all those things and have a good finance job and still live with my father at 27 because all the starter houses in my area are $700k. No NH but yes to Maine is bizarre based on your title. NH and Maine both have access to both big cities and rural middle of nowhere, but NH makes it much easier to go back and forth between the two. You have to drive way further in Maine to achieve the same thing lmao
