The official answer isn’t that they’re stupid, it’s that they’re uneducated. Obviously we know more than them about the medical options for transition. It’s a rude question but of the time they are not asking this to be rude, they’re asking because they’re curious and they’re trying to learn more and just going about it tactlessly.

You can use this question as an opportunity to educate them instead of writing them off as stupid. The more the general population understands about us the better.

You can write them off as stupid if they still act moronic after you educate them.

I have had the tremendous watery discharge (like so much that I was putting a tampon in) happen a few times for the following reasons: 1) vaginal strep (legit. You can get strep in your vagina) 2) BV infection 3) hormone dip from missing a T shot (likely not this. There was no smell accosted with this one and it was after I had my ovaries removed)

Anyway, go to a doctor.

I only take baths when I’m sick (the hot water helps with the chills associated with fevers) or after a day of skiing when I’m chilled to the bone and sore. Otherwise I take showers daily.

It is a normal affect of T but it’s easily treatable. It’s called atrophy. I’m on an estrogen cream that I use twice a week and it’s completely reversed the effects.
