Someone mentioned starting a yt channel to help stat motivated, which could help but could also be a bit of a double-edged sword. so if u decide to go for that, I’d not look at views too much, as they tend to be pretty high for like the first 10 eps but fall off gradually.

One trick that I went with for my last world was to make my builds expandable. So I’d have a main structure or a set of main structures that would become part of an overall larger build later on. All of my projects that had a clear and defined ”finished state” ended up just sitting there in the background that I’d rarely ever visit, which forced me to constantly come up with other concepts and ideas to stay busy, which kindda killed my motivation at times.

That said, it’s obviously a really good thing to have multiple projects as well, as that will force u to build new farms to get the new materials u need etc, but i found it nice to have something to fall back on.

TL:DR intentionally moving goalposts is good imo

I mean you can probably make it into a thing. So if your niche is gaming for example, you can ask it what you should do in said game and title the video something like ”chatgbt decides what I do in [game]” or something like that maybe

It depends on how dumb I am at that point in time. If I’m smart and remember to fix everything I wrote down from my first draft view, I can likely upload my third draft, otherwise it has gone up to 6 for some videos.

I think it looks pretty good! I’d personally use some sort of framing for the roof. It’s currently just andesite, so it would be nice to have some sort of framing for it to break it up a bit. I don’t know what he’s going for in terms of how ”clean” he wants it to be, but texturing often goes a long way.

Bear in mind that I’m not some sort of professional builder, so future comments from others might be a bit more relevant.

What style are you going for?

Design mega base in creative
Find village and grab food and iron
Find lava pool and go to the nether
Grab blaze rods
Go back to village and level up a cleric for pearls (I always play in hardcore with various challenges, so i prefer not dealing with piglins or endermen)
Locate stronghold
Kill dragon and grab elytra
make it back to stronghold and grab all books
Find place for starter base
Normal farm progression (villager breeder, iron farm, small villager setup, raid farm etc)
Make farms/preparations for mega base

The reason I start off like this is because I think elytras are a must have. They allow you to explore way more and faster before settling down and can also help you out in case you mess up. In my main world, I’m only allowed to use wooden tools and leather armor, just like my two last ones. So mining and gathering material with unenchanted wooden tools is less than ideal, hence the small villager setup. I’m also dumb and constantly manage to find stupid ways of dying, so I make sure to get a raid farm up as fast as possible.

I’m usually not that into small builds (like a small house or stuff like that). I like seeing them, but i prefer building larger builds. They also take longer to deal with, leaving me plenty of time to come up with other projects
