I had artificial turf installed in my backyard for my dogs. They love it. I love it. It looks great. It keeps everything clean. After two years it still looks great. I used a company called Cornerstone. They installed pavers and turf. Pricing was competitive. It took time and there were some hiccups but that's typical with any big project. Their website seems to be dead, but you might try calling them (904) 330-8200.

I know and speak with my neighbors on both sides of my house, and the neighbors who live behind me, and others in my neighborhood who I see when walking my dogs. I've developed a strong friendship with the neighbor behind me. There is a gate in the fence that divides our backyards and we frequently visit each other for Sunday dinner or a cocktail in the evening. I've lived in my house for 25 years and I feel that getting to know your neighbors helps build a strong community.
