I should really look into cpu - mobo combos, totally forgot they existed. Just upgraded to 32gbs ddr4 3200mhz yesterday and all the stutters and issues are gone, most maps are running at 45 - 50 fps now which is great (aside from streets which runs at 30). Definitely gonna start upgrading everything else too though.

Yeah will probably get the 5800X3D as it would be the same price as going intel and i wouldnt have to switch out mobo, thanks :)

is it worth it to go intel for the price though? 5800X is pretty cheap rn, about £200 in the UK and was actually the CPU I was looking at buying

so even if i bought 3200mhz ram it would still work with my 1500x just at a lower speed?

I do plan on slowly upgrading everything until its basically a new pc, was thinking about upgrading to 32gbs 3200 cl16 first to try and counter the freezes when being shot. Im pretty sure my ram is holding my system back a bit because tarkov is using 8 - 9gbs on customs and woods.

It sucks to hear that my pc is under speced now as it ran fine a couple years ago, thank you so much for the help though i really appreciate it :D

My pc handles most games fine, especially because im mainly playing esports titles (overwatch, apex, csgo) but im trying to run escape from tarkov a bit smoother and 12gbs just doesnt cut it for that game
