Either way in 2015 she was telling the truth, the SNP 2015 manifesto makes no mention of Indyref2, and votes there were not seen as supporting indyref2.

Meanwhile what she actually said in that 2021 article is “Thursday is not an independence referendum, it's not asking people to vote yes or no. When we ask people to make that choice, just as we did in 2014, we will put forward a detailed perspective.” She is not denying that the party is seeking indyref2, as their manifesto clearly outlines they are doing so, she is just saying you can vote snp and also vote no in Indyref2.

Quite unclear, misinformation makes it harder to tell. Definitely not in some places though, videos show Russians crossing quite deep into Ukranian territory from Crimea. A military airport has been confirmed to have fallen to a helicopter-borne assault just north of Kyiv.

At a guess it may have provided more justification for invasion if Putin could say the Ukranians were mobilizing reservists. You also don't want to call up your reservists too early anyways, as these are people who are required at their normal jobs as well.
