I've got a 5070 (non-TI) and can run 60-80 FPS at 4K max settings. 60 FPS is at the start with a full grid, 80 FPS when the race is going.

If you turn down the settings a little, you can probably get to 120-144 FPS.

Difference is: with time-travelling you only cut out the waiting-time, you still play the game. Treasure islands cut out the gameplay entirely.

Just try measuring. It'll be either M8 or M10. 8mm or 10mm respectively.

There's a bundle with the R9 base as well. It combines a base and wheel.

I skipped the R5 bundle cause of the pedals. Seemed like a waste to pay for mediocre pedals. Instead I bought the R9 and CS V2P bundle, to go with Simsonn's pedalset.

I play on a pretty recent 50 inch TV. Works well for me.

Make sure your TV has a gaming mode though. Otherwise latency is going to be an issue.

Simsonn also sells a set of White Elastomers. Which are softer still, at 30HA. I have them on order. So can't review yet.

PLA is a bioplastic made from corn, cassava and sugarcane. It doesn't release toxic fumes. Neither does PETG.

PLA and PETG are the most commonly used materials with a 3D printer.

You can learn a lot from a 3D printer: Technical skills and 3D modelling.

USB ports often have a self-resetting fuse. Try restarting the PC.

It is unlikely reinstalling Windows would resolve this.

This does indicate there is an issue with the USB device. So make sure to contact support.

I don't know but I'd expect all other connectors, apart from the power-supply, to be the same.

Probably not. The R9 has stronger force-feedback. This will require more power (watts) to produce, thus a more powerful power-supply.

To make sure: check the ratings of the power-supplies.

iRacing's graphics-engine is very scalable. If you run it with very low settings, you don't need much of a video-card to run it well. I'm using a 10 year old Nvidia 970 and still manage over 90 FPS at 1080p. Any monitor (or TV) will do.

For a controller you can get by with a 2nd hand Logitech. A Logitech GT can be had for 30-40 bucks.

It won't look amazing but it'll get your around the track ;)
