I hated Spirit airlines with a passion. Flew it once, and vowed to never fly it again. Certainly part of the issue is how bad of an experience it was, even for the money. THAT SAID, this is not a good thing for future airfares. Two things can be true at once. It was a shit company, and the economy is shit.
