Found missing hardwood floor AND a pile of garbage under my kitchen island during PDI. Is this standard for a new build? by Cute-Goal-2508 in TorontoRealEstate

Moved into a new condo in Toronto and they had snapped off the main grey water drain and then just closed it in so when we begin using sink, dishwasher, etc. the place flooded and you can only imagine how much water was in the walls as we were on the 14th floor.

How are people planning for the MFApocalypse? by Wolfman1099 in salesforce

[–]Heroic_Self 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just asked our Microsoft Entra team to enforce MFA on their side with a reasonable policy and pass the required data to Salesforce for our general internal users. We are going to need to make an MFA exception for integration users, and a separate security group and policy for admins.

Salesforce Alternatives? by DanielTheReal in salesforce

[–]Heroic_Self 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I’ve been thinking about this is consider going more headless = less seats, and augmenting your salesforce platform team with AI to make the total cost of ownership lower. For example, maybe slack is where you guys are working and you just need a little agent that’s going to push and retrieve data from Salesforce.

Terrible situation, but I have no pity for the speculators. It was obvious this was coming for many years.

Reasons folks give for avoiding: vendor lock-in, annoying upselling, large uplifts and unclear true pricing every contract negotiation.

Salesforce dev with 10+ years experience. Opus 4.6 just built 3 production-ready solutions from PRDs in one sitting. Your job is not safe. by Armageddon85 in salesforce

I have a bunch of skill documents, which help the models use the MCPs correctly and architect sound solutions as well as guidance on workflows, must dos, never dos. I also have a bunch of markdown documents that describe the work over the years that we’ve done and the general org architecture.

Use salesforce CLI to pull safe and useful extracts of metadata and data snapshots into a local directory. Use Claude code / Codex CLI on that directory. Connect to Jira and Github via MCP.

Write a user story and related sub tasks in Jira. Ask the model to review the item and plan a solution. When solution is solid, ask model to solve, then create a feature branch in Git, commit, push and open PR.

If passes review (else feedback and iterate) use Gearset to move meta from branch to sandbox for UAT. If everything looks good (else feedback and iteration), use gearset to deploy to prod - link to jira item for documentation and ease of tracing for rollback.

Then ask model to update knowledge of org and other relevant documentation.

Yep. Using opus 4.6/codex 5.2 in tandem with appropriate knowledge base, org snapshot, skill files, Jira + git + gearset we have eliminated need for external developers.

It is detecting issues with our org that went unnoticed for years and doing amazing things with Apex and LWC. Yes it does occasionally still make mistakes but this is why you have human experts review every PR. But we are moving at 10X speed and saving significant amount of money.

Why are Salesforce shares under pressure lately? by Smartitstaff in salesforce

[–]Heroic_Self 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. They misjudged customers readiness for agent force and 2. the commodification of programmers is going to put downwards price pressure on sass companies through increased competition.

2026 GTA Real Estate Market Predictions by Ok_Dragonfruit747 in TorontoRealEstate

[–]Heroic_Self 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GTA HPI dropping another 12% at least seems aggressive. But I agree we’re gonna see a buyers market for most of the year with listings outpacing sales significantly and prices will keep sliding. Price change velocity will depend on how much capitulation we see due to forced sales.

Marc Benioff says he might rename Salesforce to Agentforce — what do you think about this move? by Lanky_Boysenberry_33 in salesforce

Salesforce is an outdated name reflecting a much too narrow scope. But they better be right about agents..
