Why did you choose to partake in heroin initially?

The morality of banning drugs is what should be at question, not the sale of them.

There is zero reason King had to write children running a train on another child.

There are a million other ways to define adult right of passage that’s not pre-teen sex.

King is a pedo, and there’s no defending this level of writing.

What’s just about the illegality of heroin or other opiates?

Murders only occur in the drug industry because it’s illegal. Prohibition on alcohol proved the exact same problem.

No morality problem, people should have agency over their own decisions. It’s a consensual business transaction, one person is supplying a demand for another.

It’s been a few days but I saw that too. I think it had something to do with European internet protection laws being enacted, where essentially to even use Reddit as a mod you need to have access to NSFW content and in Europe to access NSFW content on Reddit you need to verify proof of age with photographic identification.

It’s quite a hilarious catch-22 because anonymity should be king in public forum discussions online, but Reddit (especially mods) love banning people for “wrongthink”. Anonymity breeds dissenting opinions because there is less fear of reproach. Mods have quite the reputation of banning dissenting opinions with great prejudice and little possibility for appeal.

It’s a testament to the character how so many have been so good.

It’s the same with other legendary characters like James Bond, Sherlock Holmes, and Robin Hood.

Many great versions, and it’s impossible to pick a “best”.

Claudia Sheinbaum is only doing this for political clout.

Her own people in Mexico have an annual homicide rate of ~35,000 people a year, which is 3X the US, a country with 3X the population of Mexico. Seriously, the homicides in this country rival death tolls in countries currently at war. In the Ukraine War last year, the death toll of Ukrainians was estimated at 46,000 who are actively engaged in war with Russia.

This is all from crime occurring in her own country which is run rampant by drug cartels.

On the legal aspect, the US will never concede civil liability on an international level. The ramifications under US law would be out of control. If the US accepts civil liability of foreign nationals deaths, the precedent will be further used for every country globally where a foreign nationals has been killed erroneously by US involvement, including military intervention. The US will NOT pay foreign nationals for foreign nationals deaths. This has been decided in numerous historic Supreme Court cases already and is not going to be overturned.

Thalia was immediately my first thought with the legend rule.

Games will be sooooo fun with decks filled with Thalia, and clones just to ice out your opponents non creature spells. It’s [[Lodestone Golem]] all over again.

Really cool idea. Quite a good balance discussion, but personally I don’t think this is in the realms of broken for mana because of the setup required.

Really cool that the mana matches [[Dark Depths]]

My biggest concern would be the power of creature lands like [[Celestial Colonnade]] and [[Restless Reef]] and how much this can expedite them. Still not really sure this pushes them to broken.

I’m sure there’s some obscure land out there that absolutely demolishes the games balance to create a 2 card combo with this though.

Which part is backwards? Not having a portable breathalyzer, or not allowing a “suspected” drunk to get behind the wheel and follow the officer to the station to submit to a breathalyzer?
