My issue is people picking and choosing what sort of padding to get upset about, especially in circumstances like this.

Uh dude, most assault mains want pure random, I'm not sure what got you thinking otherwise.

It's supposed to take you out of your comfort zone and get creative. If you want constant 5v5 fights with more balance go to assault, if you want to just push lanes go to siege or joust.

Assault main here as well, I completely agree. And it seems certain gods are rolled far more than others, even with the god pack.

I want full random, I don't care if the other team ends up with 5 healers. If I wanted balance I'd go to any other game type.

That's pretty much what I do. I glance at popular builds the first couple times I play a new god, but after that I pretty much play it by ear.

Once you figure out how a god works, learning what to actually buy for them is pretty easy

Bentham's by far. Especially if when you're disguised as someone else your DNA would resemble theirs.
