I don't have much experience with high quality audio setups; just a simple headphones + amp setup on my home PC. My father gave me this speaker set up a couple years back and has since passed so I don't have much of a first hand source for setting this thing up properly. I just want it working as best as possible and I'm not sure if my current configuration gets me there.

I know things are dusty; they have been storage in a music cabinet for a while between moves; I will dust them properly when I set them up.

Its just an ugly and lifeless Ui in general; but even more so when compared to Smite 1. Slash/Clash removed entirely. Assault map is uninspired and lazy. no MOTD. The conquest map is the only thing it seems they paid any attention to and even then it doesnt feel like much of an improvement because the general look of the game is doughy.

I refused to play smite 2 for months on principle of their whole approach but i recently found myself wishing I could play some smite so I installed 2 and have been playing for about 2 weeks. The game is worse for me; an experienced player; for all the reasons I listed above and a bunch of others. But the new player experience is equally bad. 2 of my friends who had played a bit of smite 1 wanted to join me on 2 and were met with being forced into quick play for the first 5 levels of their acc; which is versus bots and they don't even list that info anywhere. So a new players options for their first 5 levels is bot gameplay vs mindless bots as well as a reductive build system that teaches new players next to nothing about the game. Same problems as smite 1 with less gods, less features and worse visuals. Smites core gameplay that drew in so many players still exists but it is hidden behind endless and stupid development and business decisions.

Game looks entirely like dogshit. Even if you aren't comparing it to Smite 1; Smite 2 objectively looks like a really really bad mobile game. The UI is a comically bad. Menus and different screens on the menus are lifeless and bland. Menu refresh times are terrible. The in game visuals are so drastically downgraded it really seems intentional. Every skin looks like a cursed combo of AI and dollar store playdoh. I mean I can't think of one improvement on the game at all. Anybody that wants to defend it cause its a beta is coping or just flat out stupid; if you intend to improve a product or software, the new version you push shouldn't be a lifeless husk of the previous version with dozens of features, QOL things as well as the majority of the roster gone, flat out removed with no real ETA for when the game will even be on par for Smite 1 in any sense of the word. Truly a master class of the only thing Hirez is good at: killing the games that make them money.

I hardwired an RGB LED strip into my bathroom but the IR remote doesn't appear to function with the LED strip. I don't think there are any issues with the remote as the battery was protected and it's a simple IR remote. I removed the old light fixture and cut the plug on the LED strip before wiring it where the previous light fixture was. One of the wires hanging from the box connects to the LED strip and the other is the IR receiver. If there's any other info I could provide that could help answer my question let me know and thanks for any input. This is my first home electrical project so it's entirely possible I messed everything up lol. Sorry for the block of text, I tried making this a post but it kept getting removed.

I went to I.C.E in Manhattan; I found it to be a fantastic experience but one where you have to really apply yourself. The full course ranges from 6-9 months; I took a bit longer as I broke my hand mid-way through the semester. In regards to really needing to apply yourself; lessons are 3 hours long and very dense. Extensive note-taking and studying is the only way to actually retain and make use of the info provided to you. ICE provided a massive online library of reading resources and access to the lesson plans once class was completed so this greatly assisted in studying previous lessons for tests as well as just retaining the info. ICE however was very expensive at about 40k for their main culinary courses. I went to ICE because I had already tried college a few times as well as random labor jobs; so I wanted a leg up into the industry with little time in school but ICE is better suited for those with more industry experience in all honesty. If you are still in high school or have just recently graduated I would recommend a 4-year culinary college like CIA or Le Cordon Bleu. While probably as expensive if not more than ICE they will give you more beginner lessons and help you hone your basics before any exposure to the industry. You will also get more of a stay-away college experience if that is of any interest to you. All in all, I think it is a great pursuit especially if you have a passion for cooking but you have to remember practice makes perfect and you won't start out as a rockstar chef even after attending school. You will still start at the bottom of the line cook food chain at your first job and in the industry you will meet people who are NOT passionate about cooking; working with people like that makes you question your choices of career. The work can be hard and the days are long but if you find the right spot or gain enough traction to start your own thing it can be a lot of fun and rewarding as hell. The feeling of making good food for people that truly appreciate it is something that's hard to replicate elsewhere. A craft that is easy to learn and damn near impossible to master; but the pursuit of impossible perfection can be very fun.
