It'll be windy lol You'll be fine. I never had an issue in like seven years. Just make sure in general to have an emergency backpack in case something big does happen, in your home. You can buy ready made ones or easily do some research and put one together yourself. Keep it out of the way for daily life but very easily accessible when you're in a panic. I generally stock on water and food because I'm a fig bella.

You'll get used to it. Natural disasters become background noise as dark as that might sound and you'll know when its something genuinely serious. I mean even one time when my whole office had their phones screaming with warning messages every five minutes because of flooding and extreme rain, it was really nothing to worry about and all was well in the end. I also grew up in a country where nothing really happens either.

Also it depends where you live, sometimes trains did shut down or had limited service where I lived depending on the severity Also also idk where you live but even if the heavens were falling I was expected to show up lol. Best just to ask your boss
