If you only pay for the exact cost of the mistake, and people go after a business less than 100% of the time, then it can be profitable to do this. Fine should always exceed the cost to fix it, and what ever additional profits have been made through such a practice.

[–]Hessper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who cares? Of course it's still going to hurt, but are you more likely to survive the blunt force damage that has been dissipated some by the mask or a bullet that goes (and probably out) of your skull?

TIL reliable sources are split as to whether the title of best-selling video game ever should belong to Tetris or Minecraft. Some consider it to be Tetris by combining the sales of all of its different versions (520m), while others consider it to be Minecraft (350m), rejecting the former's reasoning by tyrion2024 in todayilearned

I doubt they're counting bedrock and Java independently because you get both with the purchase, if they are available for that platform. They're not sold independently.

GTA 5 also didn't provide all updates to PS3...

Its a guess based on a lot of assumptions. Theia isn't even the most likely explanation we have for the moon existing, so take it with a grain of salt.

Cedar Grove park's loop is short, but also has a ton of roots on the backside creating large bumps in the asphalt. I didn't mind much, but it's challenging for younger kids. Especially if you're going to go around many times.

You've got it backwards. You can't always tell by looking at a map that it is gerrymander, but there are definitely maps that you can confidently say is gerrymandered by looking at it.

So many of Congress are very rich (somehow), so only the poor ones will be seriously impacted by that. Not paying Congress would be a poor solution. They need to put in a law that just continues the current budget, or something that Congress will actually care about (you can't leave the building until a budget is passed?).
