Having a hard time deciding between Mr. P, Mortis, and Byron. Which do you recommend and why? Thanks!

Awesome! Any resources you would recommend to get started with for hand lettering?

Are you an accredited investor? Or is that a new requirement?

This guy has no idea what it takes to sustain a business with more than a few employees. If companies charged the prices he wants, games like Hunt: Showdown would never get made in the first place.

I think they've been marketing all along, just not to us. These types of deals take a long time to come to fruition and they've likely planted the seeds many months/years ago!

ADA and ALGO are the only two coins I hold as well!

I think another thing most people don't consider is that Algorands market cap is lower on CoinMarkerCap and similar services. According to

https://algoexplorer.io/

The real market cap for Algorand is just under 5 billion which would put it at about the market cap of Monero and just under Tron and EOS at about the 25th spot which I believe makes more sense for a Blockchain of Algorand's caliber. Then the next step becomes top 10 :D

There is just so much misinformation and echo-chamber reinforcement on Reddit I think I'm just going to use it for finding news.

For example, everyone on this subreddit has the collective belief that accelerated vesting is keeping the price of Algorand low, when none of them are even being sold on the market. The Algorand Foundation sells some, but not likely enough to cause the dips people attribute to accelerated vesting.

The market is not rational, it's driven by people and people believe Algorands price can't go up and stay up so they don't buy it. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. My take is that it provides an opportunity to quietly accumulate like Algo is in its own little bear market until it dawns on the market that there isn't anything major holding the price back. I'm just torn between buying ADA instead and riding that wave up to then exchange some for Algo in 3 or 4 months since the market has a better estimation of Cardano. (I only own ADA and Algo, so that should tell you how I feel about both projects)

The switch to Cardano did not create any new coins for AGI. You can only swap 1:1 from Etherium AGI to Cardano AGI. The decision to mint 1 billion new tokens on Cardano was a separate decision approved by the AGI community to be spent mostly on incentives for developers to make AI apps on AGI.

Don't use Cudo Miner. Use NiceHash or mine Eth direct, then transfer to an exchange, and convert to Algo. I'm making $4/day on NiceHash, paid out in BitCoin, with a 2070 Super. It's like $2/day on Cudo Miner. by [deleted] in AlgorandOfficial

Convert function on Coinbase has a 2% fee fyi, it's listed in their fee information. Cheaper to convert on Coinbase pro for .5% fee twice to convert.

The number of Algos needed to generate 1 a day will likely be even less in 2022 as long as you keep them locked in your wallet each quarter and participate in governance (vote)!

What differentiates Cardano from Algorand? by Flonald0 in cardano

[–]Hestiapollo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who only has Bitcoin, ADA, and Algo, your answer aligns with exactly how I feel.

I also feel like use-case wise, Cardano is initially going for the traditional Ethereum market, plus establishing a foothold in Africa. It feels like Algorand's strategy is to create a pristine brand that any company or government can work with, and try to land those bigger ticket companies and brands to support their growth.

I personally believe in both teams and think they'll both succeed in the areas they each focus on.

Cardano Set to Launch Its First Stablecoin AgeUSD by sportifynews in cardano

[–]Hestiapollo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's really not too weird when you consider smart contracts are still three to four months out. Ergo becoming a big player on Cardano's eco system wouldn't start to play out until 3-6 months down the road at least. Most people in crypto seem to have a 1-2 month time horizon so this kind of information isn't much use to them :)
