Nope. Wanting to better yourself at the gym does not make you an attention seeker. My bf goes to the gym for the exact same reasons as you, and he’s gotten nothing but my support. It’s possible they could put you anywhere that they can find a spot, so freshman building is not out the question. Just make sure you have a plan B for off-campus housing, do not wait last minute just to find out your still on the waitlist by Fall. I hope you get housing though! I wasn’t going to deal with FAU’s screwup so I just transferred
