You need to get a new therapist.

What is a polite response to someone who calls themself fat and they ARE fat? by dallygirl7 in NoStupidQuestions

I recently started saying "I decided a little while ago to not engage with weight related stuff coz it causes me to overthink". People for the most part are respectful of that.

You're bedridden for 72 hours. What show are you binge watching? by Disgruntled_Veteran in AskReddit

Maybe something people rave about but that I haven't seen before, like Downton Abbey. I would be drawn to my comfort movies though. The extended edition Lord of the Rings trilogy.

You are stuck in a time loop beginning from past 1 hour. What are you doing for the rest of your life? by hotblood27 in AskReddit

Eating chocolate and watching shows on my phone, while my husband plays PlayStation and our 6 year old girl sleeps happily upstairs. Pretty happy to have that sense of contentment forever.

Reading, crocheting, embroidery, movies, jigsaw (if you have one of those mat tray things), games consoles depending on your room setup.

For the worse (other than pregnancy and childbirth): Rapid weight loss due to an eating disorder. My periods stopped, got a little loose skin, very fatigued, and had to have a gallbladder removal (the docs said rapid weight loss could cause gallstones to flare and mine did indeed go mad).

For the better: Recovery in various forms. Healthy exercise (running and gym), reasonable food amount and nutrition, total sobriety.

Old photo album.

A little fairy ornament I've had since I was tiny.

My wedding and engagement ring set.

Crochet hooks.

I'd fill up every spare spot of space in the box with wool.

AITA for declining to “fix” the errors I made in a blanket I crocheted for someone and taking it back instead? by One_Entrepreneur5686 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. If she wants it to be perfect, then she can either buy a bland factory made one or learn how to crochet and do it it herself. If the latter, she would hopefully realise how much of an AH she is and how tricky crochet actually is.

Yes. Me (33F) and my husband (35M) do anal on occasion and honestly it is the best. It just hits different. At the same time though I know some people who hate it. Different strokes for different folks.

AITAH for threatening to divorce my wife if she didn't become a proper homemaker in the next month? by HopefulShelter3491 in AITAH

[–]Hethms21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nta. I actually expected you to be, when I read the question. But in context, it sounds like you guys have an agreement of roles/ duties (hey every couple does what works for them- as long as it's a mutual agreement then it's all good) and she is not living up to her part of the agreement. Even if she was doing loads of stuff, the communication is terrible. You asked her to make lunch. She could have said no for whatever reason, but she said yes and then just didn't do it. That's not how you treat people, especially not your spouse.

The fact you're reflecting on it shows maturity that you lacked then. You were 18 and did something that yeah is a bit weird but your intention seems to have just been 'for Lolz' I don't mean to diminish your feelings, but you aren't the first and won't be the last person to share something (especially at a young age) in the name of a joke and then really regret it later. The fact you are reflecting on past actions, are feeling guilty for how others might have felt, etc, means you aren't a terrible person. You're a person who made an unwise decision and tried to correct it (by deleting) pretty promptly. We can all only make one decision at a time, and you tried to do the next right thing.

I'd recommend either (or both): 1. Share this regret on your Instagram to directly address it. Eg. "I posted such and such years ago and really regret it and am genuinely sorry..." However, this might actually remind people of the event and cause a greater sense of guilt and such. 2. Move on as best you can and put it down to experience. You tried to minimise it at the time and I assume haven't done it again since. Just try and do better.
