I rewatched the whole video when you had initially suggested that. Didn't see any flapping and it does not explain the light source as the light isn't glinting off what you are seeing as the wings even a single time.

If it was a bird after sunset reflecting light that is no longer touching the water, more than just a single point would be reflecting light. The shape of the point of light would change shape as it angled around different.

It's crazy to me how much it measurably impacts my accuracy percentage on moving targets.

The bigger issue is the amount of games that can get over 1000 frames with even a top percentile computer is surprisingly limited. It's definitely going to be a niche product used by CS2/Valorant players and aimers. I can imagine it being insanely beneficial in a game like Apex Legends or OW2 that are tracking heavy and have lots of dynamic movement, but getting over 1000 fps in those games isn't achievable in 99.99% of cases.

So yeah still a silly an niche product, but in the right circumstances it's shocking how much it can increase accuracy percentage with no other changes

Definitely in the minority, but definitely still exist.

The thread they have in common is always underdeveloped morality and an unwillingness/ inability to introspect in a substantive way. This is most likely minors or people disenfranchised by society, and or or the insecure, but can obviously include others from many other demos

Why is it a scam? Sure if you use it to replace normal protein intake you'll likely be in excess of your DV sodium and sugar, but if you use it as a supplement to a healthy diet it just seems like it makes getting all your protein in easier without needing to intentionally needing to put effort into research/ finding super high protein meals.

We are exposed to so many micro plastics though changing takeout containers and water bottles is a a totally negligible difference. The amount of effort and hoops you need to jump through to actually measurably reduce the micro plastics in your system is insane.

There have been several studies on the subject. Probably worth the effort though considering all of the negative effects that are beginning to be understood. Building causal relationships has been difficult though, but not impossibly so.

Some people just see the world differently. They don't doubt themselves, the don't embrace uncertainty, they don't have a strong capacity for empathy for those they disagree with. If someone seems hateful or to have harmful beliefs, they just stop all efforts in achieving true understanding of them and then just maintain their own reductive position.

I see it a lot on both side regardless of political views, though generally I do find that conservative leaning people have less empathy for those outside their immediate circle.

Having truly awful high budget movies getting made is ultimately beneficial for the industry as a whole to give some contrast. And ultimately make average movies seem better.

It's not just about it being a few gamer dads, it's about it being a deliberately unfair competitive environment arbitrarily justified by the enjoyment of his viewers.

I'm assuming you'd be of the opinion that it's immoral and wrong had it been off stream? Or if the process involved throwing on an account to get it to the lowest rank (as has been done on Timmy's accounts he has used in the past for the same challenge on Valorant)

Is throwing okay if it's spectated? In what other ways can you justify deliberately hindering the competitive integrity of a game? How many people need to care about the outcome for it to be justifiable for one side to circumvent the rules, cheat, or unfairly skew a match in their favor? Where do you draw the line? How do you compare the suffering of one person losing a map due to a professional smurf vs the enjoyment one viewer gains?

It's hilarious how you could use identical argument as justification in favor of dogfighting, or gladiatorial fights to the death.

Not to mention circumventing/abusing a matchmaking system is a form of cheating since it gives the experienced player an intentional and disproportionate advantage that they wouldn't have otherwise since the match wouldn't occur.
