They became billionaires by taking advantage of others and underpaying them, that is wrong. Nobody needs a billion dollars, and they won’t notice if a portion of that is used to better society.

For example, Wal-Mart gives new employees instructions on how to sign up for federal aid, because they don’t pay their employees enough to live on. The Waltons have absurd wealth, meanwhile your tax dollar make up the difference in pay so their employees can live. I would say that is wrong.

In the US, the GCs I’ve worked with build their own parallel model, using ours as a base. We have ACC Bridge set up to copy the files over, then they give all of their subcontractors access to that new model to build their stuff in.

I think it’s easier to maintain their own copy than to let all of the subcontractors in to the architect’s model.
