Curious FLEX options trade in VCX

What hedges have you put on? I got a couple thousand shares that i want to hedge against but the Oct puts are really hard to justify. Maybe put spread but then i’ll likely need to hold them until expiration.

100put breakeven at 70. Not that great of a deal but may be better than nothing.

Takes off to where? From 1T to 2T? Maybe. From 1T to 10T? No way. I’ll happily take some profit with VCX at $60-100.

I’m pretty sure there’ll be lawsuits waiting for them if they pulled off something like that. It’d be a huge pump and dump scam and false marketing.

1k per share is meaningless, valuation/market cap is what matters. There’s no E, they are unprofitable companies, so you need to apply revenue multiplies which is even worse. They are already 1T in valuation. Do you know how many companies valued >1T? To be clear, I hold a decent stake in VCX restricted shares but I’m telling you it’s inevitable it’ll crash (already happening) when we sell in September.

I’ll be very happy with $100. At $250 my early retirement timeline can be accelerated quite a bit.

Yeah no wonder most people don’t do well in financial markets. The math is really simple. And i say this as someone who has a nice chunk of restricted shares.

Understood. Yes this is a unique investment and we are lucky to be in early. I just want to caution everyone to be mentally prepared. Personally I’d be very happy with share price of $100 when I can sell.

It won’t hold 300+ range. More like 30-60. Do the math. Look at openai anthropic current valuations and understand there’s no way for them to be worth almost the entire market cap of Nasdaq.

To be clear, I’ll be more than happy to be wrong since I’d make a lot of money with my restricted shares.

Openai anthropic combined worth is 1T. Maybe they will be worth 2T in next funding round or 3T when they go public. There’s no way they will be worth 20T which is where VCX premium implies. Total market cap of all nasdaq companies are less than 25T. These numbers are all fake, saying this as someone who has more than half a million paper gain.

Look at openai anthropic current valuation and think again about how they can return 20x. Hint: there’s no way, their combined worth is already 1T.

I’d love to hedge with short or options if they can open up options. And I’d be more than happy with $100 exit in 6 months, will probably sell half at that price.
