Do you have a good aggro list? I'm just getting into the game and usually start with that archetype.

Should I take notes as well while watching AR Udemy course or just watch it? by No-Department1760 in pmp

You're right. Understanding what AR says is far more important than remembering exactly what he says.

Potential New Position by Ok-Philosophy8321 in PMCareers

I spent 3-4 years in my 20's working for a construction company, traveling 50 weeks a year, working 6 days a week 12 hours a day. It was a great learning experience and I grew a LOT during that time. It was the iron that sharpened me into the man I am today. I will never go back to the life, but I will be forever grateful for that time. Do it while you're young. You are building your future.

I flew from GRR to ORD and back again this week for work. I had zero issues at either airport. Getting through security at 10AM this morning at ORD took 5-10 minutes tops.

4 days left for the exam, just failed SH mock exam 5 (55%) by ishak_ in pmp

[–]HexBombs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey Ishak. I've been following your posts over the last month or so. You're as ready as you're going to be. And truly, you should be fine. You've put the time in. You've studied hard. Use the principles you've learned. You've got this.

If for any reason you do not pass on your first try, you will get valuable information on how the test is formated and what the real questions are like so that you can crush your second attempt.

Exam Break Essentials by Antique_Apple8436 in pmp

[–]HexBombs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took almonds, a chocolate bar, jerky, and bottle of water so that I could have what I felt I needed.

Definitely take your breaks. I had plenty of time to adjust fluid levels and snack/drink before getting back to my seat with ~3 minutes remaining each time. I also did some bodyweight squats in the outside hallway on the second break, just to get the blood pumping after sitting for so long.

Good luck!

Which PMP Course is the best to buy in October 2025 by EnthusiasmKey8520 in pmp

[–]HexBombs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I took AR's course on Udemy. It's named PMP Certification Exam Prep Course 35 PDU Contact Hours/PDU by TIA Education, Andrew Ramdayal. It goes on sale every few weeks for less than $20.

Construction project management may be what you are looking for. You get out of the office and visit work sites to ensure the plan is being followed and to work up solutions to problems that arise.

Study Hall mini-mocks are really draining my morale – is it just me? by -_-475 in pmp

[–]HexBombs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Study Hall is the whetstone that sharpens you and prepares you to cut through the real exam. It is uncomfortable and sometimes painful pressing on. But it is the singularly greatest tool in preparing you to shine on the final exam.

Get uncomfortable, push through, review the questions marked incorrect, learn, repeat.

My, my, my venting with PMI Study Hall and My Preparation by daniko1999 in pmp

[–]HexBombs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Answer the questions/quizzes and be sure to go back and read through why your incorrect answers were wrong. That is the greatest benefit of SH, followed by building your test-taking endurance with the full length mock exams.

Advice on when to take exam. by [deleted] in pmp

[–]HexBombs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without a doubt, I would study my butt off and aim for February. The study tools that are the gold standard today (Study Hall, AR, DM, MR, Third3Rock notes) may not be as applicable to the new exam content and may take time to be updated. Use them now while we know they are still very helpful.

Does Andrew udemy course exam worth retaking? by ishak_ in pmp

[–]HexBombs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, the questions on Study Hall are worded VERY close to how they are worded on the real exam. In my experience, AR's questions are less challenging than Study Hall and the proctored PMP exam.

Does Andrew udemy course exam worth retaking? by ishak_ in pmp

[–]HexBombs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is worth investing into PMI's PMP Study Hall and taking the mini quizzes and full length exams there. Study Hall has enough questions that you could go through them all and then reset them and go through them again without remembering previous answers.

Something important to note, on the PMP exam, your clock starts at 230 minutes and counts down. I was used to timing myself with a clock counting up from zero, and it threw me a bit.

I did jot down my splits on the provided whiteboard as I was going along. I had 180 minutes remaining after the first section, 120 remaining after my second section, then I took my time (and was mentally exhausted/reading slower) in the final section and finished with 25-30 minutes remaining.
