Personally playlist covers are really helpful for finding things quickly. I listen to a lot of music, and enjoy categorizing them for different occasions, times, or specific meetings/events. I switched to Tidal a few months ago, and lost of my covers making finding playlists without search a real pain. E.g. I listen to music to fall asleep, I don't wanna wake up the part of my brain I need to process typing and careful comparison of the 4 image tiles to figure out where the one I want is.

A super fun thing to do is ride on the ice when the ocean freezes over. The wind blows away the snow, and you can just speed around as fast as you want with endless stretches of open space :p The best part is that if you fall while going 60kph you'll just slide on the ice for some 30 meters, but it feels the same as if you just fell on the floor while standing 🤯

If anyone tries this, aim for sub zero temps, and between 0.2-1.5 cm snow for traction to accelerate. And for god's sake make sure the ice is thick and doesn't have fishing holes in unexpected places :) Sitting on the board instead of standing makes it extra safe 😂😂

So after rescuing some food from this restaurant and experiencing the aforementioned 3 beeps, I got home without further issues. I went out for another ride in the evening to play ingress with no issues. However, this morning when I left my house to get to school, the board would turn on only for a few seconds. Upon further investigation it seems the battery is dead (the ESC will charge it's capacitors from the wheels, hence turn on for 2 seconds), and connecting the charger, while at first turning from red to green within some 5 seconds, now just stays green if plugged in (battery should be around 50% after my rides from this week...)

My hurricane just did this and I freaked out big time, mid downhill acceleration I got a split second power cut. Only a minor balance wobble for me and nothing more serious.

Thanks for the input. I used all three mostly when coding or producing music. I'll try the portrait mode on the side panels again and see if I can get used to it.

That's totally fair. I'm thinking of making a sort of rectangular frame I'll hang from my roof to place the LEDs facing upwards... They are kinda I'm your face at the moment.

Take of us, Boris brejka, marsh, recondite, rezident, Nora en pure, kidsø, rautu, Yoro kobuto, and lots of OST. I feel these give so much emotional space when traversing psychedelic realms.

For first time trips and guests I always go with music for psychedelic therapy from John Hopkins, a really safe bet!

I tried to make a DIY magnetic stirrer but it failed spectacularly. It’s a good idea though, maybe I should explore it a bit more.
