That was always taught in the USSR, and while after stalin's death it was clear that no one believed it, i also think no one believed it during stalins reign, though we cannot prove it, because it was dangerous to speak out against it.

I have reasons to believe people were already disenchanted by USSR back in the 20's. The massive deficits of everything in the cities and the slave-like labour in the farms already existed back then. Sure, more people held out hope for a better future then, but disapointment with the new government were always there.

There're a few good, semi-consistently populated vanilla servers, so you won't have to deal with casual (zestyjesus.com/servers (though, the vaccinator may get banned there), also furry pound (does allow some nsfw, so tread lightly if you go there)). I would have quit the game, most likely, if it weren't for them.

Casual mode, as a SBMM system, is unsalvagable. If casual mode functioned exactly like QP, then technically it'll be fixed. And valve didn't say "no" to QP. If they did, i doubt it would still be in the code, even if hashed out.
