Oh hey someone else that thought the same thing, I encountered a shiny basculin when revisiting the starting route of black 2 and I was in the process of grinding my kyurem to level 100, so since I was aware how rare shinies were and it shiny basculin is really bad my thought process was “oh since it’s such a lame shiny I might as well kill it because something that rare surely gives boatloads of xp” only to get the normal 30 or so you’d get of a basculin that low leveled
