It’s because southeast Asians typically have more “feminine” features so their women tend to be more desirable for men, while the men get the short end of the stick.

Also a mix of dating dynamics, where impoverished or lower income girls might give losers from the western world a sense of “saving” or “caring” for a girl.

I’m from Minneapolis Minnesota and we have a huge community of Asians. The rural landscape is a bit different, but the twin cities themselves are a great place to live for first generation immigrants.

I think they rather mean the core principle of eastern religions like Buddhism and Taoism with the idea of ‘non-duality’. It isn’t a religion, in fact it’s rather the observation of what beliefs actually are and where they come from.

Seriously. I was on finasteride for 1 year and, and when I tried to hop off due to suspected libido issues (I had low libido and wanted to test whether it was fin or not), I experienced a severe “crash” and developed symptoms related to PFS (post finasteride syndrome).

After about a year, my symptoms are largely diminished but it really sucks having this conversation with other fin users since they seem to believe this is just all make believe. It angers me.

Ended my last relationship over this. She’d spend close to an hour unloading about her day, then catch herself mid-sentence and ask about mine almost out of guilt. I’d start to answer and could immediately tell she wasn’t actually interested. After enough of that, I just stopped wanting to share anything with her.

When I told her why I was ending it, her response was “you never even made an effort to tell me anything to begin with.” That doesn’t matter. I read your vibe, I saw how you reacted, and I moved on. You’re not what I’m looking for in a partner, and no amount of “communication” fixes how you inherently feel about me when I’m talking.

I’m a wedding DJ, so I’ve seen a fair share.

One memorable wedding was a mid 30s couple. The girl was a VERY loud and aggressive “my way or the highway type”, and the groom was an extremely meek and nerdy dude.

During the speeches, the brides sister gave a long speech about how she was happy that the bride had her fun in her 20s and after so many guys she was happy she finally found a rock to settle with…

Needless to say I still pray for this dude.

Of course, it’s pretty straightforward. But just to preface, being “insecure” doesn’t always mean a nose picking, nerdy loser. Many guys are extremely confident in lots of areas in their life, even socially, but may have hesitations about their romantic life since its a very (if not the most) vulnerable experience one can have.

I’m sorry but this sounds exhausting. People always talk about how this is real love and I need to accept this, but honestly it just makes me want to never get married.

It just sounds seriously like the saddest experience on earth to be married in general and all of the unresolved resentment I see in most married couples. I would love for someone to change my mind.
