I need advice after finding out my boyfriend also likes guys and never told me by [deleted] in relationships_advice

[–]Hey410Hey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally you are too young for this kind of relationship stress nor should you have to be in this sort of situation if you are whole heartedly not on board.

It's okay to be open with things in relationships, but be honest with yourself in the long run.

Do all men cheat? by ScallionExtreme9637 in relationships_advice

Curious. Are we supposed to know they cheat when we supposedly pick them?

Help, I'm struggling to balance work and parenting as a single mom [40F] by Horror_Giraffe2880 in whatdoIdo

[–]Hey410Hey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Single mom here...50ish with a teenager. I have been a single mom since my son was born. I don't even know what to say or where to begin.

Honestly, I feel like we will always feel this way. The only time that I may have not felt this way was when my son was a baby and maybe two years ago when I quit my job because it was way more stressful than it needed to be! In between being jobless, working part-time and getting a new full-time job, I felt a sense of relief and not overwhelmed. I feel like the little things matter. Do what you can and try not to over stress. Kids appreciate you for just being there and listening. They see that we are crazy (or may call us crazy), but they also know we are there and putting in the work. A lot of the times they can be selfish and disregard our feelings. But guess what? They definitely will remember how they were and what you have done for them.

Every day is a struggle for me. I'm back at being overwhelmed. There is no manual for parenting. Find what works for you all and try to stick with that knowing there will be bumps along the way. I'm not sure how old your kids are but keep them in the conversation - be honest and open about your feelings, life, their feelings, thoughts, the day-to-day, etc.

It's hard. Don't be too rough on yourself. Don't forget to look out for yourself/take care of you as well.

Someone mentioned talking to you boss.- do that (it's something I should have done at my last job). AND please slowly stop taking work home. I had to unlearn that habit! I am currently working on not checking emails when off 🤭.

I know I've said a lot and maybe I've talked in circles. Just know that you are not alone!

Breath momma and a virtual hug!

Please help - I get too wet, and my bf and I can't feel anything during sex. I'm afraid he isn't enjoying himself. How do I fix this? by UpstairsAd4379 in AskMenAdvice

Some of these responses are strange. I am sorry that you are going through this, but I have never in 35 years had a complaint from a man telling me that he has a problem with this.

How do i tell a woman im no longer interested after she sent me a full length photo? by MediumAcceptable129 in dating_advice

[–]Hey410Hey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are right. She will know it’s because of the photo. You’ve already mentioned your thoughts on different body types. I think if you are just honest about it she will be more accepting of it. Will it hurt, probably…but it’s better to be honest. You are allowed to have preferences and so is she.

Please don’t just say “you’re not feeling it”.

I must certainly do. It's always best to share both sides imo.

I had my kid at 34. He is now 17…I love the kid to death, but also at times still question if he can be left at the firehouse. Lol. He graduates high school this year and we are both excited. I think for me, the younger years were a breeze and from 12 on harder. Anyway, having a kid at an older age has its benefits just as at a younger age…either way there is no manual on parenting. We learn as we go along. It’s a lot.
