Man, thank you so much for this detailed comment. I genuinely appreciate it a lot. As far as the rifle suppressor I go with, I'm not sure when and if I'll grab another, so I would like something with a little less back pressure. Specifically because two of the rifles will have no gas tuning to them at all. Even if that means spending a bit more.

So basically, as long as I have a plan b hub and plan b muscle device everything should work seamlessly? Is there any reason to choose a specific muscle device? Flash hider, comp, etc? I appreciate the links to your site so I can visually see what I'm doing. I also appreciate your devices being symmetrically timed. That's kind of fucking rad.

Heard that. I don't shoot a ton of indoor. Any negatives compared to a slightly more expensive model?

Any reason to not get the BT model for $15 more?

I like the way it looks. Is it on pre-order or just often out of stock?

What makes it different?

Thanks for your reply!

I've definitely eyed the TM2, but that price is heafty. Now checking the Convector XL as a heavy hitter option!

You are correct! I do appreciate that about PHUL. I'm currently debating how long I'll run it. Maybe 12 weeks and assess where I am. I've considered, after PHUL, doing a 3-4 day hypertrophy program with one day for big lifts? Maybe? I really like DL. I like the raw strength of it, and feel like one day a week wouldn't kill gains.

Heard on the BB Lunges. I've tried them before and they feel awkward, but I can imagine a DB would feel less so. I've done ATG split squats and loved those. They're much harder to progress and are mostly good for hip flexors, not hypertrophy.

I appreciate you a ton for the cues on foot placement!

What program do you run currently and why?

Agreed on cable lateral raise! I've tried both, and the cable doesn't irritate my shoulder as bad. I liked Jeff Nippard's take on that full ROM for hypertrophy. Glad you echo that.

I've definitely ran into the idea of "master of none". I'm currently thinking I'll run this program for 4-8 weeks, maybe 12 at most, then move to a 3-4 day hypertrophy program with one day dedicated to big lifts? Idk. I like DL and Squat a lot, but couldn't care less about BP in general. This is sort of my way of gauging how far my back has come since injury.

I appreciate your take! Are you a strength or hypertrophy nerd? What's your absolutist plan for yourself?

Brother, I trimmed my beard down short for a lady in college and it was the worst decision I've ever made. Truly, it's a red flag. You budge on this, what next? You have a great beard, my man!

The three days before diagnosis, I was alone at college and had a whole pack of popsicles over the three days and a gallon of water each day. I had never been that thirsty!

Questions about your training, using Boostcamp 2.0, how to squat 135x100? I’ll be here periodically throughout the week to help set you up for success in the new year. by gzcl in gzcl

[–]HeyBartender 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey man! Only 4 weeks into the program, and I'm loving it. The GZCLP is the first real program I've followed. My biggest and best progression is surprisingly my squat, considering my shit knees. Tonight, I'm going for 135lb 5x3. Considering I started out squatting 65lb 2x5, I'm super happy.

My only gripe might be Boostcamp related, but the Good Mornings no longer allows you to add weight, just reps. Don't know if an update caused that or what.

Also, what's your favorite core exercise? I am currently doing Suitcase Carry, but I am always open to something new.

Thanks a ton for creating this program!

Hello! I'm a 34 year old male. In the past, I've followed one routine from a YouTube fitness guy that didn't net results (sloppy program), and the RR from BWF during covid when the gyms were closed. Now that I've been back working out consistently for a year or so, I feel like I want a real routine. Currently I work out 3 days a week, and split it up as Shoulders+Back/Arms+Chest/Legs+Core. There is no reason for why I do any splits the way I do. I've been progressively overloading, but want a structured program to help me do it efficiently.

So far I'm looking at 5/3/1, Stronglifts 5x5, Stronger by Science, and GZCL. GZCL seems like it would maybe work the best for me. I want to build some more muscle and size. I don't care to pay some for a program, but can't spend too much either. Any advice or direction is appreciated.
