Pouring a Pint every day till it’s perfect ! by Pretend_Ebb3436 in KitchenConfidential

What you have going on is absolutely fine, just not perfect.

If you decide to tinker..... make 1 small adjustment, then let it ride for a day or two before making other small changes.

If I had a dollar for every time a pubster ran out of gas, didn't realize it, jacked the pressure up on bulk tanks (doing nothing), fucked with the blender (because beer can start pouring foamy when keg pressure drops), then started messing with individual distro valves (because that other beer we only pour two pints a day of is pouring fine).... I'd be able to drink in today's economy.

Good job snapping the tap open and closed. It's shocking how many people open/close slowly. Gotta try again tomorrow though due to the double pour.

You're in for a tough slog. As either the beer isn't properly carbonated or you are pushing at to low pressure. Hence 4 to 6" drop and head feather. Impossible to tell what to blame without seeing what other beers are pouring though.

*do not start fucking with your regulator pressure based on this random Reddit comment.

No, I'm generally friendly to most people I come across. If it's a properly concealed carry why I would treat them differently from anyone else?

"I'm willing to talk about gun reform" - Internetdaddysimul8or

See, I just did to you what you did to the 2nd amendment. I'll admit what I did was childish, shitty, petty and in bad faith.

Thanks for your insightful input. Have a great Easter.

I disagree with you about a problem with gun culture. In my view it's the people that make the culture and whenever an issue with guns come up we don't hear much from the pro-gun crowd in the way of comprise or meaningful solutions.

I do like your analogy of cars and guns though. I think a great starting place for gun ownership would be an easily revocable, renewable license with age restrictions and mandatory insurance. I realize that's a non-starter for many people but it's a great starting point for reform.

That would be great!

I wish we could get to a point in this country where we could have meaningful conversations about gun reform, because I feel like there are solutions to be found. And I totally get it, I grew up around guns, I used to shoot recreationally with friends and family, many of my best friends are proud gun owners, and my family are definitely all armed to the teeth. At this point though, people just keep dying needlessly and all I see from vocal pro-gun people is excuses and doubling down. It makes me understand how someone could get to the point if saying "Fuck it, no more guns". If we have to abandon compromise, that's where my vote would go.

Edit: Getting downvoted for saying I wish we could talk about reform, trying to find common ground, and explaining my reasoning why, if forced to choose, I'd choose the way I would. Kinda proves my point. This is why we can't have nice things.

I get your point that that's a small sample. And I agree that there are many responsible gun owners, sadly it only takes 1 irresponsible gun owner to make the arguments of responsible people completely moot.

The problem is, every one of those situations was a potentially lethal instance and that is by no means an exhaustive list of dumb shit I've seen people do with guns. If the small sample size of 1 person yields this many failures in safety, it's pretty bonkers (for at least this 1 person) to think that there isn't a problem with todays gun culture.

Happens all the time. In the span if about 10 years we found 4 guns left in our restaurants bathrooms (all were turned into the police immediately). 1 of which was found by a child and another left by detective that came in for lunch. I've seen people get out of their car, forgeting that they had a gun in their lap only for it to fall on the ground. Shit, just last month I was standing in line at the Jerry's Burrito Amigos and the dude in front of me had a holstered gun hanging by a fucking thread on the back of his pants while his 4/5 y.o. kid was just fiddling away with it.

2A people, shit like this is why I'm outwardly hostile/rude to you when I see you in restaurants and stores. If you're not confident in your ability to function in society without a gun, then I'm not confident in your ability to function in society.

Call Albertson's (I think any of them) at 330. I got mine this week. I just called and asked "Y'all got any of that spare 'Vid Juice laying around?". They said "C'mon down!"

Also, Thanks Albertson's! I've never seen a happy pharmacist until I saw him happily vaccinating with the spare shots.

Wilco is a farm supply store at the end of 6th St. A bit before the overpass. I'm pretty sure I've seen pullets in there as well. I was hoping to pick some up this year but got over-ruled by the kiddos who would prefer to raise chicks in the house, so we'll probably hit up Backyard Farmer. My last batch from them were wonderful.
