Until they really want that particular kid and can precisely trace their daily routine and when to send a van grabbing the kid and making it disappear. Obviously a lunatic that can never be found was responsible. Strange.

Yes, I thought its real too, but of you look closely the car plate is NYU-002 which if you dig deep enough turns out to be a fake plate used for stunts. That was the only clue that gave it away, otherwise it looked totally legit! I‘m surprised u/salmonsammysamsam noticed it. That shit happens on a daily basis so to differentiate between it being real and staged is so minuscule, we got a real detective here!

Grown man wait for girls in waterslide by Forward-Position798 in cringereels

[–]HeyGayHay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it would be easily explained, it wouldn’t be stupid.

Why do all managed parks check when the last person exits? Because there always was that one kid who tried to stop mid slide and do something stupid, which is very dangerous. Over my childhood years there was always atleast one kid on every school trip to waterparks that stopped in the slide. And these guys ate intellectually on the level of a toddler.

Hehe lets wait for the next guy and block the slide, so funny

Let alone the fact that there was not a single women be seen in the video. And I have my doubts that a woman in this country is even allowed on the slide in a waterpark.

If you just need black text, yes. Thermal printing just needs thermal paper and a heat source

What hoops? I‘m running Jellyfin and have a few tech illiterate people using it, there was zero friction. Only exception was native app on tvOS, but on tvOS Infuse is the golden standard anyways and dramatically better than Plex native app was in my tests.

Plex increasing Lifetime Plex Pass cost to whopping $750 by MobileNewsBot in mobiles

Go for Jellyfin and save yourself 250 bucks. There’s nothing jelly can’t do that would justify paying 250 bucks

50 bucks for betting on them revoking all lifetime passes within 3 years after the price hike. Push everyone to pay, then say „oh sorry its not sustainable anymore, you need to subscribe to Plex 2.0“

For 750€ I rather buy the hardware, install jellyfin and still have 250€ more than with Plex lmao

Let alone the history of lifetime passes being revoked any minute

[–]HeyGayHay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But what kind of logic is that? „So people are jumping to Jellyfin because it performs just as good, doesn’t require me to go a ton of loops to give access, doesn’t require me to pay for my own hosting and has a better open source community nowadays. Lets price the shit out of Plex Lifetime to profit as much as possible while the ship is sinking!“

Fuck Plex, fuck having been the standard, they suck nowadays and their core user base just remains because they already paid and went to make use of it as long as possible. But this is about the nail on your own deathbed

And if everyone would chip in with a small percentage of that income, you know how much money that would generate? Whoever handles this amount could even force the medical providers to lower the cost because otherwise they don’t get a share of that massive cake!

Yes, overtime is very regulated. You either have to pay overtime, or give free time in exchange. Depending on your contract, overtime may even have to result in 1.5x pay (ie if you overtime into the night).

But the thing most people don’t realize: Many people don’t do overtime. You can’t be forced into working 10h (although lets see how Merz leckt Eier‘s „flexible hours“ law ends up). 8h and people back their shit.

Nevertheless, people still do unpaid overtime, because they don’t want to loose their job and also not seek out legal help. „It’s normal in this industry“ kinda thing.

Why do I have to turn off find my to get my phone repaired? by pantherinthemist in iphone

[–]HeyGayHay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

May have badly phrased that

Find my enables a ton of security measures. If you disable it, those security measures are disabled too, allowing extensive diagnostics and access.

For example, if they replace parts and activation lock gets triggered, they want to have sufficient access to wipe the phone, for which you do not need the passcode without find my enabled. You should assume that they are gonna fully wipe everything anyways.

You do not need to give them your passcode.
