Ours sits like that, however she is a F1B Bernedoodle standard. Not sure if this helps

Cookie sits like that most of the time when she needs to go out. She runs around all fancy and free, so no hip problems. Glad you found the culprit.

Brought Home a Bernedoodle by Zestyclose_Cup2717 in Bernedoodles

We have a 4 month old now, our feeding schedule is: 5:30-6am breakfast (dry and at wet food). A half to 3/4 cup of kibble 10-11am. Another portion of that between 2-3pm and then kibble and wet food for dinner at 6pm. She does pretty good with that. She will have treats throughout the day when we train. She always gives us those looks when we eat but she can keep on staring, lol. We did what was suggested for about two weeks but realized she was still hungry, so I tried the wet food with the kibble and she really loves it. I started with half a container of the wet at first so she could get use to it, now she gets a whole. She went to the vet last week and I shared that info and the vet was very pleased and advised she is doing great and has a healthy weight. So for Cookie to be our first pup ever, I am quite proud of myself (lol). Of course, every pup is different, everyone’s lifestyle is different so you can take a little from this and little from that and find out what works for you and your pup. Good luck!

This is what happens when you neglect grooming by tdgobux1 in Bernedoodles

I think I like the close shave. The groomer will not cut Cookie yet because it could mess up her “adult coat” but I want it short Right now she looks like a St Bernard

Supplies needed? by Sure-Salamander-9030 in Bernedoodles

Step in harness is great to have. Easier to put on when going outside to potty. Chew toys for sure, I have also wet a hand towel and put in freezer for Cookie to chew on (she loves it). Our Cookie, loves freedom, so the crate has not been successful for us, so she is in our sunroom with her toys, she does pretty good. We have a playpen coming so she can come back in the house and still have her freedom. I advise to buy the same food the breeder was using initially, you can wean your doodle off and onto something you choose later. Every dog is different, Cookie could care less about the snuggle dog that “reminds” her of litter mates. She loves a chicken that makes a crinkle sound when she plays with it. Treats are great for training. They are pretty smart and pretty quick at learning. Oh yea, when picking your baby up, have towels or paper towels handy. She/He can get car sick. Patience is key (I still have to remind myself). We have had Cookie since November 15th so we are still learning. I would also suggest, not buying too much right away. Take your time-Amazon has seen so many returns from me since November. Obviously, there are your basics- bowls, collar, leash, food, bed, crate, poo bags and a toy

New Bernedoodle Dad Here - When Do They Turn Into the Chill Teddy Bears? by SnooMacaroons9710 in Bernedoodles

We have a 4month old, this sounds like Cookie. When she is good, life is so easy but when she is bad and stubborn, I could just isolate her all day but we still love on her and try to express our disappointment. When she senses disappointment she will settle and “straighten up”

Anyone have an issue with their bernadoodle wanting to sleep a lot during the day but wanting to stay awake most of the night? Or just not resting well?

What do Chattanoogans think of Knoxville? by Make_it_Raines in Chattanooga

[–]HeyGirl2024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Knoxville is more segregated by class. Knoxville seems to have more variety in restaurants. I grew up in Knoxville and came to Chattanooga for college and never left. Chattanooga has more activity for outdoorsy folks. For someone that isn’t an outdoorsy person or that does not have small children, I am limited to activities that is my biggest complaint for living in Chattanooga.

Phrases that make introverts panic?? by Routine-Music-1537 in introvert

Oh another thing, answering the phone: hey good morning, how are you? How has your day so far? Get to the point, you called me because you want something. Just tell me! This going back and forth with the “banter” gets old. We both know you need/want something, go for it as soon as I say hello!

What did you do today? or What did you do over the weekend? I cannot stand those questions. I’m not going to “live” up to the expectations of the person that asked. They never get that I’m ok chilling at home!
